Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Lil Crock!!!! I bought this to carry food to work. I work 3rd shift and it is hard to find something to eat in the middle of the night. Also being diabetic it is imprtant that I eat regularly. I saw this at the store at the VA hospital and started to buy it then and didn't. I regretted not getting this little crock so I went on line and found it and ordered it and 2 extra containers. Have not regretted it for a minute. I fix my supper before I go to bed everyday and just grab it on my way out the door at night. This has also been a wonder on my budget cause I am no longer having to stop and pick up something to eat on my way into work at night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great with the exception of the cord I bought this when our kitchen at work closed down due to Covid. I used this at my desk and other then my forgetting to plug it in when i first got to work, it has been my go to for a hot lunch. I do not transport food in it. I keep it at work and bring food in a separate dish. However, my big complaint is that the cord is just short to sit in the bottom slot and needs to be wrapped tight in order fit. after only a year of using it 1-2 time a week the cord is now frayed and showing copper wires as well as the heating element is now taking longer and longer to heat up. I wish it had a better cord keeper or a removable plug for easier storage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size for lunch I have warmed soups, stews and casseroles in this for lunch and it's just the right temperature for all of them. The food has been great no matter how long it was plugged in. I put frozen vegies with cooked rice and chicken and everything was warmed perfectly. The seal on the inner lid is great, even soups don't spill when carrying them. I put the food in the serving bowl the night before, put it in the fridge, and put it in the crock-pot in the morning. Can you tell it's my new favorite lunch box? I love that I don't have to use a microwave and the container doesn't leach any chemicals into my food like plastic would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This has been great! My husband works construction and very rarely has access to a microwave. He was getting sick of sandwiches every day and started to resorting to fast food way too much. I saw this at a store and figured it'd be worth a try. He is loving it! Every leftover we have put in it so far has worked. We've done chili, stew, spaghetti, leftover hamburger patties, taco meat, chicken pot pie and more. We've also put hot dogs and brats in...you just have to bend them slightly to form the container. I just bought three more of the food container inserts, so we for sure always have an extra one or two clean...even when he has to pack for lunch and dinner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more stinky microwaves at work!!!!! Yeah!! I have used one of these for two yrs now. There are now about 20 of these being used where I work. Our lunch room is not best conditions for microwaves. No One cleans them!!!!Gross! I cook a lot and really enjoy being able to heat leftovers. It's Really great through the winter for soups and stews. We all love them. We have lunch pots lined up everyday. The only thing g I would change would be the cord plug holder. Doesn't do so well after multiple uses. We use tape to hold them. We all literally use these almost everyday!! GREAT PRODUCT!!!!!!! Doesn't dry out food and heats perfectly...Love It. Probably going to purchase another one...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm lunch Oh boy I so happy that I found the perfect personal crockpot that I can use at work. I can now have warm soup, left over spaghetti, chilli, and so much more. I would say you can use this crockpot for other than work such as home, in dorm, or on the go trip. It very easy to use , just fill with desired food in the inner removable container, then place container in the base, and twist the inner lid on. Then the outer lid to the base. It has one setting when warming up food. The plug is detachable and easy to store under the base of the crockpot. You easy carry with the handle. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It, Many others want mine!!!! My husband bought me the lunch crockpot a few months ago to use at my two jobs. I love it!!!! When I get to school in the morning I plug it in and my lunch is ready for me, with out having to wait my turn for the microwave. At my part time job, I have 15 minutes to eat my supper. I sometimes bring soup in my lunch crockpot and don't have to waist part of my 15 minutes to heat it up. Many other staff at my school love my crockpot and want one of their own, one has already ordered hers. I just wish I could get a second insert and cover for those days that I want to use it twice between the two jobs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love it! What a great idea! I am a multi slow cooker owner. I got a great deal to purchase this little warmer and I love it! It works great. I keep the base (outside) unit at work and just transport the inner container with me to refill. It is so convenient. The only issue I have with it is the inner lid, it doesn't snap on as tight as it did when I first bought it. I did "pop" during heating the 1st few times, which was nice so I didn't get burned trying to open it to eat. But, since it doesn't snap tight anymore, it doesn't pop anymore either. Other than that little issue, which I can live with, I love it! And, I get so many comments on it.

When used as intended, your pre-cooked food should be safe as long as it is kept refrigerated prior to placing it in the warmer and then thoroughly heated before consumption.&#10;&#10;The time food remains in the &amp;quot;danger zone&amp;quot; (40&amp;deg;F&amp;ndash;140&amp;deg;F) depends on several factors, including the starting temperature of your food and the ambient room temperature. For best results:&#10;1. Ensure your food is pre-cooked and stored in the refrigerator before use.&#10;2. Allow the Lunch Crock&amp;reg; sufficient time to thoroughly heat the food, usually about 2-3 hours depending on the portion size.&#10;3. To confirm your food has reached a safe temperature, you can use a food thermometer to ensure it has reached at least 165&amp;deg;F before eating.&#10;&#10;If you have further questions or concerns, please let us know.&#10;https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us &#10;&#10;Thank you so much! &#10;CrockPot Consumer Care <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: CrockPot Consumer Team</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2025-01-08</div> </div> </div> </div> <script type="text/javascript"> if (document.getElementById('bvseo-questionsSection')) { document.getElementById('bvseo-questionsSection').style.display = 'none'; } </script> <!--end-questions--> <!--begin-pagination--> <ul id="bvseo-paginationSection"> <li class="bvseo-paginationItem"><a class="bvseo-paginationLink" href="https://www.crock-pot.com/specialty-products/lunch-crock/crock-pot-lunch-crock-food-warmer/SP_636216.html?bvrrp=Main_Site-en_US/questions/product/2/SP_636216.htm">Crock-Pot&reg; Lunch Crock&reg; Food Warmer Questions - page 2</a></li> </ul> <!--end-pagination--> <ul id="BVSEO_meta" style="display:none!important"> <li data-bvseo="bvDateModified">y_2025, m_1, d_18, h_4CST</li> <li data-bvseo="ps">bvseo_bulk, prod_bvqa, vn_bulk_3.0.42</li> <li data-bvseo="cp">cp_1, bvpage1</li> <li data-bvseo="co">co_hasquestionsanswers, tq_795</li> <li data-bvseo="cf">loc_en_US, sid_SP_636216, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=LAST_APPROVED_ANSWER_SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]</li> <li data-bvseo="diagnostics">clientName_crockpot</li> </ul> <!--end-bvseo-questions--> <ul id="BVSEOSDK_meta" style="display: none !important;"> <li data-bvseo="sdk">bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0</li> <li data-bvseo="sp_mt">CLOUD, getContent, 0ms</li> <li data-bvseo="ct_st">questions, product</li> </ul>
