Rated 1 out of 5 by Dave V from Hairline Crack in Stonewear My wife bought this at Macy's a while back, and on January 1 we used it for the first time. Upon unpacking we noticed a hairline crack in the Stonewear right out of the box. It's still usable with a liner, but obviously not up to my expectations.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Kingfisher from Does Not Work Right Out of the Box! I bought this for my wife, who’s long time Hamilton Beach one started acting up, for Christmas. Purchased at Kohl’s on impulse in November. After we’d trashed all boxes after Christmas we try to use it yesterday And it does NOT WORK. It can be programmed but doesn’t heat up. Sooooo not sure what we’ll do, I’ll prob call CrockPot or take the defective one back to Kohl’s for a refund. We’ll see what they say. Thanks

Rated 1 out of 5 by burned food man from food burner I have been cooking in crock pots for 40 years, my twenty year old one was still working but my wife got me a new one, I fired it up and put in some elk sausage and sauce, set er at low for six hours and then switch to warm, burned to a crisp by morning. Don't buy one of these. It burns everything even when set on warm. Runs way too hot, not a slow cooker.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DanAm from Unsafe, burns food The last review I tried to put up they took down. This is an unsafe item. It burns the food in it regardless of the setting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Andrea99 from Unhappy customer We were excited to receive this as a Christmas gift as we needed the programmability and larger size (we still use our basic Crock-pot that we have had for 33 years). It is very attractive and works well. After several uses, part of the lighted time display went out. Although I provided photos of the codes, model, etc. that indicate the manufacture date, place of sale and other information, customer service was told that there was nothing they could do to help. Now another section of the light display out, so soon it will be unreadable. Disappointed in the product and company response.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Edwin74 from warm = boiling hot As other reviews have stated, the "warm" setting on this model is poorly calibrated. I had a crock full of chili in the refrigerator overnight, but after putting it 9n the base on warm for 1.5 hours - IT WAS BOILING. It was literally BOILING. My advice would be to avoid this model.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ali5onWA from Love the CrockPot, hate the high temps. I really like the features and look of this crock pot. I have burned more than one meal, even when it is just on warm. I don’t like that I can’t put soup in it and leave the house.
