Hi! Yes, you can bake potatoes in this CrockPot. Pierce the potatoes with a fork, rub them with the oil and season generously with salt and pepper. Wrap each potato tightly in a piece of aluminum foil. Layer the potatoes in a slow cooker, cover and cook on high for 4 hours (or on low for 8 hours), until fork-tender. We hope this will help.

If you are cooking small to medium size meals in your slow cooker, we recommend checking it from time to time and then adding more liquid if the liquid is running out to prevent burning or drying out food. Thank you for your inquiry. Measuring the capacity in slow cookers has been inconsistent in some ways within the industry. The standard measurement for capacity is to the Spill Line – meaning the highest point possible before spilling outside the slow cooker. Some models have instead used measurement to the Fill Line – meaning it fills to the last lip before where the lid rests. The industry standard for measuring slow cooker capacity is to the spill line. As small as that may seem when looking at the stoneware, the capacity difference can be ½ quart or more.
