Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.
Warranty
1 Year Limited Warranty. See Instruction Manual for Additional Details.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crock cracked I'm very disappointed that the crock cracked while I was cooking food. I searched for an 8qt slow cooker, and thought the original Crock Pot brand would give me a good product that would last for a long time. I've owned this for less than a year. I didn't hear any 'pops', but when I pulled the crock out to wash it, there was a considerable amount of cooked material on the bottom of the cooking until. I then searched, and found several cracks in the crock. I came to the website to purchase a replacement crock, only to learn it is not for sale. I will not make another purchase with this company, as long as they don't sell replacement crocks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stoneware cracked while cooking My new 8 quart crock pot cracked while my food was cooking, I heard a loud popping kind of noise in my kitchen, went to see what caused the noise but I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. After serving the meal at clean up time while washing the stone wear pot I noticed a large crack along the bottom. Then I go on this website to try to order a replacement and find out the 8 quart replacement isn’t available online, so now I can’t even replace what broke. I still have my first 4 quart crock pot I have had for about 27 years with no issues, then Ali buy a new larger one and it cracks after a few uses.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible This is the worst crockpot I've ever owned. The low setting is so hot, my stew was boiling - and it was almost completely full, so there was plenty of food in there. I read below someone else had the same issue and the reply was "food temperature regulations." Yeah, right. So why is there a warm setting? That setting is barely warm and it would surely be worse to keep food at temperature than a decent "low" setting that doesn't boil your food. Hopefully there's something better out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I am so pleased with my new crock pots! Actually I bought two of the 8 quart size as I feed a large group of young adults every Wednesday night. I can feed the group of 50 - 60 from the two crock pots instead of needing to use 3 - 4 of the smaller crock pots. They are my new favorite crock pots (I own a total of 10, all of varying sizes)! I really love these large capacity crock pots!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Size This crock pot is SO nice! I can cook for a crowd or cook just for two and freeze meals with the rest of it. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some of the more expensive ones do, but that's why I chose it. ON, OFF, HI, LOW, WARM. Perfect for my needs and it's really pretty! Only one thing (which is to be expected considering it's size) it's heavy when it's full of food! BUT, it's worth it. I'm so glad I bought it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Handsome shiny black pot! What can I say this baby is huge! I was given a Hamilton Beach crockpot last Christmas and before the year was out the crock cracked while cooking. I knew it would not last. So I bought myself this one and another. I still have my old crockpot i recieved as a wedding present in 2004. The only thing wrong with it is the handle broke on lid and the metal part, but she still works like a champ. So lesson to learn folks if you want to give a gift then gift a reliable crockpot buy from the best!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality! I bought this 3 months ago, the insert cracked while I was cooking soup causing it to leak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this 8 quart crockpot three weeks ago. Had a large pot roast that I would normally have to stack in my old crockpot. This one was large enough to put both pieces on the bottom of it. Turned out fantastic. If you are constantly running out of space you need this one. :)
