My old Crock Pot had a rubber seal around the lid that kept it sealed tight when cooking--this new one doesn't have a rubber seal and the lid vibrates--Can you buy a lid with the rubber seal on the edge of the lid?

Hello there Chlorine! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will be more than happy to answer your question! The lid for the Crockpot SCV800-BP-BR does not have a rubber seal lid available, the advanced design now allows for a more effective release of steam from the cooker, which prevents any buildup of pressure or damage to your lid. For further assistance, please reach out to us via https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9 am -5 pm Eastern Time. Hey there, Kimberly324! Thanks for reaching out to us. We will be more than happy to answer your question. This manual slow cooker does not shut off automatically. Once you turn the slow cooker on, it stays on until you shut it off. This product is manually operated with a control knob and must be manually switched to Warm or Off when cooking is completed. We hope this information helps. Thank you and please stay safe!

Thank you for your question. With this Crock-Pot both low and high stabilizes at 209°F. The difference is the time it takes to reach that temperature. Low: 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. High: 3-4 hours to reach the simmer point. Warm is 160 - 170°F. Thank you very much.

There are several different answers to be found for this question. Also, length, width, and height are not identified. It is obvious you use someone who does not speak our language. I'm looking for a dust cover for the 8 quart Crock Pot which you say is 9.5, 15.30 & 15.4. Is the height 9.5 inches? Is this really oval or round? I want oval - how do you mark it for the 8 Quart?
