Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.
Warranty
1 Year Limited Warranty. See Instruction Manual for Additional Details.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice crock pot for the money. I've used it a few times and it works well. The silver part seems a little cheap (like a thin piece of tin) and I don't like how there's no red light to tell you that it's on or any kind of timer but I think it was worth the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge capacity! Family-feeder! I am delighted with this enormous crockpot! I can make enough stuffed peppers for EVERYONE now. I just made a big pot of chicken and dumplings - it heats quickly, cooks at a very even heat - just am delighted! Very easy to clean also. It still fits in my dishwasher which makes me happy. Make no mistake -- this is a HUGE crockpot - big family size! And such a great price!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Big Crock Big, Black and Beautiful. Large capacity (eight quarts) was the purpose of this particular purchase. This Crock cooks a little fast/hot while utilizing the Low setting (make your own personal adjustments).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Cooked an eight and a half pound whole sirloin tip roast in four hours to perfection. Tender and moist, one of the best roasts I've ever cooked. Love this eight quart Crock Pot and the price can't be beat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great purchase this is my first crockpot and I went with a little bigger to handle pot roast with potatoes, onion & carrots. It's cooking right now and the house smells great - can't wait to eat. This was a great price for the size, easy to use and convenient.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works good Could use an indicater light on it. Wish there was a rubber ring seal around rim of lid its self. I cooked with alot of other sizes and this is the better size we were looking for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exciting Find Several places I went to in person or online did not have your bigger, 8 qt. crockpot. So I decided to visit your home website and there it was, just what I wanted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Runs WAY too hot! Boiling within 4-5 hours on LOW! This runs way too hot, too soon.
Date published: 2019-02-13
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Crockpot brand I bought this crock pot and I am noticing that the quality is slipping a little. The lid rattles when cooking something on high and the finish on the inner pot seems more porous therefore it stains easier. I have an older smaller one and it cleans up nicely. The new one works great but the quality is dropping some.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointment I bought this crock pot with the little extra warmer it was great! Until the second time I used it, it cracked right in half and all the ingredients in the insert when all over the bottom. I cannot find a replacement 8qt insert so I will not be purchasing another one. Feeling pretty ripped off honestly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We replaced Crock-Pot that we had for years! We decided to replace an older model Crock-Pot with a new one which would be larger. The new one is better than the old and the time it takes to cook (even on Low Setting) was faster than what we had been used to with the old one. We decided to follow a recipe from another person on cooking a ham for Easter. This new recipe was far easier than the old method of putting cloves in the ham and pinning pineapple slices to the ham. What it called for was to place brown sugar in the bottom of the pot along with crushed pineapple and sprinkling crushed cloves on the ham and in the bottom with the other stuff. We were to cook this on low for 5 to 6 hours. Well the result was far better than we would have imagined. The ham was done sooner and in fact at the 4 hour mark we took temperature and it read done, in fact fairly well done! We stopped the process, took the ham out and put on carving board and wrapped with aluminum foil so that it could rest until we got the mashed potatoes done. Our ham was the best ever! We can only blame the result on the fact that this Crock-Pot is great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as expected Bought this to replace a very expensive multi cooker never used all of the features of the old product. This cooker is great value for the price and an extra quart of capacity.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Warm setting too hot! I have had this Crock for a few months now and have given it a good run. I have tested the warm setting out now on several occasions, with the same results Everytime! Your food will literally BOIL on the warm setting! A few days ago I filled the Crock all the way to the top with queso, and after getting it perfectly melted and hot all the way through, I had to start unplugging it and plugging it back in to keep the cheese at the right temp. Because, putting it on the warm setting was causing it to BOIL. Then, when all was said and done, the burned cheese along the inside where the heating element is was aweful to clean!! - Now, yesterday I made chili, and instead of unplugging, etc., I just put it on warm and left the lid off. It still boiled, but not rapidly, like it did with the lid on. There's seriously something wrong with this Crock. I'm sorry I bought this Model!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great gift for my wife My wife had a 6 at crock pot but needed a larger one for holidays. I got her a 8 qt and it's just what she wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Large Crock Pot Nice large size with a primarily square bottom that even adds a little extra room. Nothing fancy, does the job.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It came ad a gift from amazon. The metal outside was dented.i did not see this when I opened it, as the dent is on the back. Since it was not purchased by me, I won't be able to do an Amazon return.i cannot get the order information either from the gifter. This 8 qt unit replaced my previous digital 6 qt. I'm extremely disappointed in crockpot and Amazon. I have been using crockpot for 25 years and this has never happened to any.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Hate to say this. I have had this Crockpot for awhile now, and from day one it just does not heat up enough, so I put it away and to be honest forgot I had it. Then after moving and seeing I still had it I thought I would give it another try! Well it still just does not cook (even on high) like my old one I gave to my daughter, I am not sure if it was just this one but I would not recommend this model.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Huge Purchased the 8qt crock pot for my mum. She loves it. Now she can easily make meals for 6 and still have enough for leftovers. The only problem is, it's very heavy when it's full.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hasn't lasted very long - disappointing purchase I have always used slow cookers so I was excited to purchase this large model (SVC655B-IUK) to enable me to cook a whole chicken/turkey crowns. I have had it for several months however, I have not used it very often. So, I was disappointed that the crock insert developed a hairline crack during use which caused the liquid to leak into the casing below. I am now scared to use it incase it breaks in half. I would add that it has not been dropped or banged and is never immersed in water whilst it is hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest Slow Cooker I've Ever Owned I bought this slow cooker (8 quart) almost two months ago as a replacement for one that was dying. It is larger than the one I was replacing (6 quart) and I LOVE IT!!! I make a lot of soups and stews and chili and such in the New England winter months, and it is just the right size. Now I only have to use one slow cooker instead of a large and a small one. It heats up quickly and cooks beautifully. I cooked an 8 lb ham and whole sweet potatoes in it together for Easter and it was the best Easter ham I had ever had. My next slow cooker meal will most likely be southern picnic ribs. I have every confidence that they will turn out famously and the meat will just fall off the bones. I am really enjoying this slow cooker. I prefer the manual slow cookers because of power bumps in the area where we live. If the power goes off, the cooker comes back on when the power does and continues to cook. I love that feature of the manual cookers. I can leave home for hours and not have to worry that when I get back the meal won't be done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The size is perfect!! I bought this to replace the original crock pot I had from my wedding shower, over 20 years ago. It’s amazing! Heats perfectly! We are big crock pot fans since we work at night. We put food on in the morning and it’s ready when we get up for work. Love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new family get-together cookware! This crockpot is huge. You can do racks of ribs or cook enough macaroni & cheese for a family reunion! It's a great size for those large meal occasions!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not again. My husband bought in a pinch during our move in July as my old was still packed away. We we’re having a ton of ppl over for our sons birthday and was trying to do a roast. At the time I couldn’t figure out , Bc I was so busy trying to get the house in order and prepare for company, why in the world it kept boiling over and I had a constant mess with it all over my counter and even spilling onto my floor! Grease and water everywhere! Thank god for my sister being in town and helping me clean up the overwhelming mess! At that point, we had to set it in the sink, keep refilling and hope for the best! Now a cpl months later, I’ve decided to give it a try again and I can see the problem. The lid does not fit! There’s no seal and though the diameter fits, the sides are gapped and the lid rocks back and forth. Much easier to notice now when it’s not covered in a boiling mess
