The Crockpot SCCPVL710-BP-ABR slow cooker lid does not have a rubber gasket/ silicone ring. We would advise to soak the gasket/ silicone ring of Crockpot units in vinegar and soap solution. Allow it to soak for at least one hour, but ideally two then rinse off the vinegar and soap with cold water.
