Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features for our family! I had a crock pot with a melted control panel and insert that cracked. Instead of replacing the stoneware, I decided to upgrade to a larger size and one with features more conducive for our cooking styles. I love the snap lid for travel. A must! And I got the largest size (I believe). We have a family of six and this is perfect for roasts and veggies all in one pot. I also make chicken broth from scratch. This is a great size for cooking down bones and keeping it low for an entire day to get all the nutrients, without having the stove on all night or when I leave the house. Love the auto switch to warm after cooking too, also a must! This was also the best price I could find!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty darn good crock Cooks great and the countdown function with LCD display is a very nice and handy feature. It really adds clarity to what your meal timing. There are a few things though that I feel could be improved on: - No cooking done alarm. When the countdown timer is done, it switches to keep warm but does not beep to indicate that your meal is ready. - No crock handles. The pot itself is the same size as the heating vessel. This makes it difficult to get the pot out at times, especially when it's hot. - The lid fits funny. It's not too bad, but the indentation for the lid is slightly off center and it just sits kind of odd... not a big deal, but triggers my OCD a bit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from cooker great - safety miraculous I have cooked in this for a few months, works well, cooks well. But, I made a pot full of sweet beans for a Christmas Party and as my husband carried it into the host house he did not see the small step into their dining room and he fell half way across the room and the pot went flying and hit the wall. It did NOT open or leak anything. After making sure Papa was OK I just had visions of the horror of beans everywhere. There was not a drop. Beans were great as usual and the party was on without a hitch. Buy this pot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cooks great until stoneware cracks I have enjoyed this crockpot for several meals. Unfortunately, I recently discovered a crack across the bottom of the stoneware. This did not happen during cooking. It is not leaking, but it's very disappointing to find this flaw in a somewhat new crockpot. I've had other crockpots for years with no problem in the stoneware. It's a shame a replacement isn't offered free of charge or at least free shipping. The other crockpot features are great, but it's useless without quality stoneware.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from crock insert keeps cracking I received mine as a gift. After a few uses, the first crock cracked. I called and received another in the mail at no charge. This morning I put a meat loaf in. After about 30 min, I heard a loud cracking noise, then heard a sizzling noise. I lifted the crock out of the base and it had condensation on the bottom and was leaking. I have never had this problem with my other models of slow cookers. I wouldn't think that the meatloaf would have to have water in the bottom of the insert. But why is this happening with this 7 quart model. I also do not like the keep warm setting. It continues to keep cooking the food like it was on low. NOT very satisfied. but like I said it was a gift.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Didn't know what I was missing till now! I had a big problem with my last Crock-Pot, it heated up too hot, even on low things were getting over cooked or burn. So I bought the programmable and what a difference. I just made pork ribs in it yesterday and they came out perfect! I put the ribs in and set the Crock-Pot on low for 4 hrs. When the 4 hrs were done it went to warm and kept the ribs hot for another hr until we were ready to eat. I would highly recommend this product to others. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the lid latches seem a little flimsier than the lid on my old Crock-Pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does all the work, but you get the credit for it! My favorite feature is how it turns to "warm mode" automatically after the timer finishes. Its saved my bacon more than once... no pun intended ;) The volume is the perfect amount for my boyfriend and I to get a solid 3 meals each... and our eyes are often bigger than our stomachs. ha. The lid snaps on and seals great. There is no steam leakage or liquid leakage while cooking. For anyone that is concerned, it does not over heat the countertop underneath it. The timer can only be adjusted in 30 min intervals, but that hasn't been an issue.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Crockpot cooks fine But in less than a year the lid has rust that wen cooking the steam makes it run in to your food. Now I have paid an extra (with shipping) to have a new lid sent almost 1/2 of what a whole new crock pot costs!
