Instruction Manuals
Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.
Warranty
1 Year Limited Warranty. See Instruction Manual for Additional Details.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not wipe unit or settings come off! I liked this Crock-Pot well enough (even though it runs a bit hot) until I had to wipe some drips off the unit. Using only a damp cloth, the settings wiped right off. I have multiple Crock-Pots. I will never remember which setting is which. I contacted Crock-Pot, thinking they are aware of the problem and probably have a solution, such as vinyl decals. Nope. They don't care unless the unit is under warranty. This is a bare-bones unit that should probably last a lifetime. Needless to say, I am disappointed in the company's response and will keep that in mind when buying future appliances.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty, and functional at the same time. Need a slow cooker that works as intended and looks great at the same time? This is it. No bells and whistles, but that's what I wanted - something simple - warm, low, high, and off. Although I have a larger slow cooker, I wanted something smaller and this one fits the bill nicely. The price was great and with free shipping, well, call me "sold!" Easy cleanup. I don't like a lot of stuff hanging out on the counters but this appliance looks great doing just that. A good value. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've always trusted Crock-Pot I've tried other brands and they just don't have the same quality that the "Real" crock-pot has. The stone cookware makes all the difference and the heating is consistant with settings. Low actually means low... it's amazing how many other brands say "Low" setting but seem just as hot and "Hight" setting and cook the meat either to fast or way to slow. My last "Crock-Pot" lasted 12 years + and I was so sad to see it go. I'm looking forward to 12 years + with my new one. Thank you Crock-pot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't last long :( The model of my Crock-Pot is actually SCR400-SP; I couldn't find it to select that model. I used it twice, without problem; on the third use, it died ... it didn't even get warm. I checked the outlet, and it was fine. I had guests coming over for dinner, so I had gone to the store to pick up a few things. When I got back, the pot was still cold. Unfortunately, we had to order carry-out! I bought my first Crock-Pot 40 years ago, and it's still working; however, I wanted a new one with the removal stoneware but it turned out to be a lemon!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, Love, Love Crock Pot and Have for years Thank you so much for your crock pots. I have a couple and I give them as gifts. Love that there are 3 quart sizes available for smaller meals and soups. Love the different compartments that are available. Love that you can take the inside crock part out and clean it easily. Hear that the liners are great for clean-up even though I have not used those. I look forward to more products. Barb

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A little bit short Just purchased and used it the same day. Unit performed well with zero problems. It has a very nice flat bottomed crock and the lid fits well Where it came up short was with the 2ft. power cord. A longer cord (3-4ft) would make it easier to use on a small counter top with limited outlets (Apt. kitchen) This is my only complaint with this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing but cant replace power chord! My wife and I LOVE this thing but somehow the chord slowly damaged over the past few months and suddenly a spark this morning. There is no replacement power chord for model SCR450-HX. That sucks! Otherwise it does what its supposed to do. Is there a way to replace the power chord on this model?
