As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small, yet big enough for so many things! Sometimes, I feel like I don’t want to go down into the basement and grab my 6 quart crockpot. Enter this 2 quart slow cooker! It’s small enough to keep in my kitchen and it has been used countless times since we received it. Whether I want to make something like buffalo chicken dip or artichoke dip, the size is great for a group of 4-6 adults. When my husband and I get raw meats from the meat dept, I have started tossing it in here- with plenty of space to spare! Lately, my favorite is buying preseasoned chicken thighs and putting it on high for 4-6 hours. Although small, it is powerful enough to cook meats and potatoes. I’m very happy to have decided on a smaller size!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cutest stinkin’ thing I’ve ever seen This little gem of an appliance is awesome. I’m a crockpot-aholic. If I can cook it in a crockpot I will and if I can’t I will find a way. My hubby just recently started working out of town so cooking for just me in a crockpot didn’t seem very advantageous. Way too many days of leftovers and would most likely get tossed. So this smaller version is a way better decision if I want to continue my crockpot addiction. I was concerned about hot spots because it was so small but I haven’t found any yet. The heat runs evenly through the whole crock just like the larger units do. It holds just enough for one night of dinner and one day of leftovers which is plenty. I’m pretty glad I found this because it’s made my kitchen life a little easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it My family is small, there are only three of us. So, sometimes I don't need a huge crockpot to use. This 2-quart pot is perfect for us. I had made chili one evening, and my husband was running late from work, so I just put the chili in this small crockpot to keep it warm. It worked beautifully. The chili was still hot and ready to go whenever my husband did make it home. Even if you have a larger family, you can still use this pot. It is perfect for dips. I love making homemade nachos with it. You can even do soups. It is small, so it doesn't take up a lot of space in your cabinet either. It does have an Off switch, Low, High, and Warm. You really can't mess up your dish with this little pot. It's great to have.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Small, but nice. This is a great crockpot if you're making a small side, dip or meal. Most recipes will need to be cut in 1/2 to get most of the ingredients to fit into it. If you're looking for something that is easy to transport and/or a meal that will last 1-2 days then it's perfect. Easy to use features. Make sure you are home when you use it, because it does not have a timer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful little crock pot! I got this 2 QT Crock Pot a few weeks ago and have used it quite a few times. It’s a great little device. I was able to fit 3 Cut up chicken breasts and sauce in it, cook it for 4 hours and fed 3 people! It cooked the stuff perfectly. I didn’t have any trouble with the temp settings. It’s also very easy to clean with the lift out crock! Overall very happy with this little Crock Pot! I would recommend it for individuals or small families!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size for 1 person I love this little crock pot! I have been using it for dips and chocolate for dipping fruit, but it's also big/small enough for a tiny house with one person to have a nice meal! Just pop your ingredients in in the morning/whenever you wake up and cook as per recipe and have dinner waiting for you when you get through working! A nice addition to a tiny house kitchen!

However, before putting it in the fridge, please make sure to cool it down after use to avoid a sudden change in temperature which will cause the stoneware to crack. Reheating is not recommended. However, the stoneware is microwave safe and oven proof, up to 400°F. We hope this helps. Thanks for reaching out to us. Season the chicken breast with your favorite spices. You may brown the meat in a separate skillet or broiler prior to cooking in the slow cooker. It will allow fat to be drained off before slow cooking and also add a greater depth of flavor. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker 1/2 - 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. This will prevent the food from drying out and burning. Cover and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours or on High for 3 to 4 hours, or until chicken is tender. We have included many rice recipes in our instruction manuals with all steps. Please also visit our website for more information on recipe guidance and tips. We hope this helps.
