Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for one or two people, or side dish. I bought my first crockpot casserole crock 2 1/2 quart oval slow cooker about a month and a half ago. And it's just perfect for one person or two. The best crockpot I've ever bought for myself. I can put a roast in a little baking bag put it in there cook it and throw my veggies on the other half. I like it so much I also ordered my mother one. It's just the right size for her and my stepdad. And she's not lifting up a heavy big crockpot to try to fix a small Mail for her and my stepdad. She just loves it. Thank you crockpot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2 strikes against this Crock Pot I just purchased this product a few days ago and decided to use it today to cook a pork roast. I like that it's lightweight and looks like it would be easy to clean, however; I noticed that it emits a lot of heat and so I'm glad that I placed it on my glass stove top. Another negative, the cord is only about 24 inches (which includes the plugin). Thankfully I was able to use one of the electrical outlets at my countertop, but it sure did not leave any cord to spare. It would be great if the cord was at least 6-8 inches longer. My other slow cooker has a 38" cord.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love It! I had gotten a double generic brand slow cooker that was only 1¼ qt on each side. DIL said that she thought it would be good for side during our family dinners -Ha- So when I took it to exchange found this and LOVE it - It is a great size for 2 as we are now empty nesters and also great for side dishes when we have our monthly family dinners in which we generally serve 15 to 25. I just wish that it was digital --I love when I can set it and not have to worry if someone will be home to turn it to keep warm. I wish I would have found the one with the locking lid. Just saw it on here today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Design For Slow Cooking Meals for 4 and Dips This gray and white 2.5 quart Crock Pot solved a huge issue I had with the typical 3 quart slow cookers. It was wide enough to cook a meal for 4 people or queso dip for a party. I am thrilled with the oval wide bottom design and lower height. I made nachos, chili, chicken teriyaki, and BBQ short ribs in this 2.5 Crock Pot. I wanted to find out if this mighty Crock Pot could endure a variety foods and pass my slow cooker test. I discovered that the 2.5 quart Crock Pot oval design enabled it to cook foods more evenly and quicker than my 3 quart slow cooker on the same setting. The shorter design also made serving the food much easier. It has three cooking functions; warm, low, and high. The crock is removable from the base for easy cleaning. I was given this product as a sample to review. I am so happy with the 2.5 oval Crock Pot that it will definitely be my first choice slow cooker over my 3 quart slow cooker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for potlucks! This smaller version of the regular crockpot definitely serves its purpose and is great for smaller meals or just one or two people. However, it is definitely not advisable for large family gathering meals, Or making larger stew or soup dishes due to its lack of depth. But great for potlucks! As a disclaimer, I received this product as a sample.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use & Great for Parties I have used mine several times now and love it. Its great for Casseroles (obviously by the name) but I love using it for parties too. Great for dips or other apps at parties. Its easy to use and my favorite part is how light weight it is. I like the shape of it and its also very easy to clean. I hope they don't change anything I rcvd mine as a sample.
