Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us. We are truly sorry to hear that your Crock-Pot® Manual Design Series 4.5 Quart Slow Cooker isn't working. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: Check the Power Source: Ensure the slow cooker is plugged into a working outlet. Try plugging in another appliance to confirm the outlet is functioning. Inspect the Power Cord: Look for any visible damage to the power cord. If the cord is frayed or damaged, it may need to be replaced. Reset the Cooker: Unplug the slow cooker, wait for a few minutes, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the internal components. Check the Lid and Stoneware: Ensure the lid fits properly and the stoneware is seated correctly. An improper fit can affect cooking performance. If these steps don't resolve the issue, as your slow cooker has a Year Limited Warranty, you can contact us directly. You can do so via the 'Contact Us' page on our official website from https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us or via Live Chat. We're available Monday to Friday from 9 am - 5 pm. Thank you, Crockpot Consumer Care.

Hello! On your slow cooker, both high and low stabilize at the same temperature (209°F); it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point. On high, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas, on low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. Once food reaches the simmer point, total cook time is dependent on the cut and weight of meat to reach the point of maximum flavor and texture potential. Most dishes can be prepared on either high or low. This is uniform across all of our current models. In the warm setting, your slow cooker will be between 165-175°F. Hello! This is a manual unit, meaning it has to be set to WARM manually, just as to all the other modes, by turning the knob. The cooking time has to be measured manually as well - with a clock or a timer, for example.
