Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the working woman.....and man! I received the lunch crock as a gift for Christmas and have used it at work since then. It is perfect! A prefect size for leftovers and soups. No more waiting my turn for the microwave in the faculty lounge and having to stop and stir my food, heat again, to make sure it is warm all the way through. This little gadget heats is completely through....actually hot! It also heats up a lot faster than expected. I usually plug it in just an hour before I eat and it is ready to go when I am! I leave the base unit at work, then just take the insert home to clean and refill daily! Works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for use in truck This thing has saved me probably over thousand dollars over last year. It's great for heating up cans of soup or leftovers. When I bought this I was a little worried about the stainless steel liner, I figured it was going to be a royal pain to clean, but cleaning is extremely easy. I've used this product 6 days a week for a year now only problem I've had is the power cord the shielding is cracking where it goes into the pot

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this little thing! This little pot is great and now with newer cars having a plug in the car it is great for traveling. Sometimes we go on long car trips and we just plug in in the car, stop for lunch or dinner and eat right out of the pot! I have made bbq and we had hot sandwiches on the road. How perfect is that! You wont be disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot Lunch for Teacher I have used this for several years with exceptional consistency. Teachers don't get much time to eat during the school day and this maximizes my time to eat. This year, especially due to the pandemic, it minimizes cross contamination by preventing the need to use the the staff microwave to heat my food. Sadly, the inner lid slipped through the dishwashing rack and melted into the drying burner. Is there any way to purchase more insert tins and inner lids? I would hate to stop using my beloved baby crockpot because it's missing one piece. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love this but it needs redesigned I purchased two of these when they were being sold on QVC. I love this lunch crock pot. This product made my lunch easy, tasty and memorable. My only issue happened to both of the units I purchased. They both had cord issues, both of them sparked, one was sitting on top of a computer cart when it blew, The sparking left a black mark on the bottom of the unit and some on the cart. The second one blue while sitting on my desk. It took out a circuit at school and I had to find a custodian to fix the breaker. I love these, but wish the cord had a better design on the bottom.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works perfect if only the lid fit I am a crock pot nut! My husband bought 4 of these so he and I, and our children could take healthy meals on the go! My kids have stopped carrying it as the lids don't stay tight and everything leaks all over their school books. I bring it only when I think it won't leak. It's a shame, because it works perfect. I am a teacher, and with only one microwave and a faculty room 5 miles away...it is the perfect thing, but I can't have it leak all over my papers either! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very portable and convenient! I already owned one and decided to buy 3 more because they are so essential for someone like me who has food allergies and takes food everywhere I go. I have one that I keep at work, one for home, amd two for traveling. I can plug one up in my SUV and have hot food on road trips and in the hotel room for a meal. I can easily take one or more with me when visiting friends and family, plug it in, and when everyone else starts to eat, my hot course is piping hot and ready to eat. I love putting my Rosemary Potato Chowder with Polska Kielbasa in there. Delicious. I accompany that with a salad and my meal is complete. I love my Lunch Crocs!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have used it once and I love it! Used it to warm up soup. It heated up perfectly in a couple of hours. Only a couple of things could be improved: 1. The cord is a little hard to rewind back into it's slot (but you can just leave it unwound if you like). 2. The lid is a little hard to screw on... you have to lay it on perfectly for it to catch. Other than those 2 minor inconveniences, so far the little warmer worked like a charm... and it is so cute! :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent crock for a good price Exceeded expectations; gets food very hot after 4-5 hours. Very portable. Like removable insert that I can pre-pack and put in fridge the night before. Will be ordering extra lid and liners. If I were a rep for CrockPot, I could have sold four of these at work already!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Little Item This is an awesome little thing for soups and stews. Takes about an hour for total comfortable heating. But i sit at a desk so im able to plug it in an hour before i want to eat. I love it. No issues so far. Been using it a month or so

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Lunch Pail Ever! I worked at a school and you would have to race to get to the microwave in order to heat up your lunch and still have time to eat it before getting back to class. Then I bought this and started using this. I had a nice warm lunch everyday and with no fuse. I brought everything from canned soup, to last night's leftovers and it was hot and delicious every day. Then My husband borrowed it one...next we were fighting over who got to take it to work that day. We now each own our own and LOVE them. The only downside is the lid does not always stay secure. I leave my CrockPot at work now, and bring in my lunch in a small container, pour it in the crock when I get to work, then let it simmer until lunch time. I have given this as gifts for lots of friends. Highly recommend it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for the Office I bought this for my husband who works on a construction sight. The microwaves and vending machines are in a different trailer on site and it is not always handy to walk over there to warm up your lunch especially if it is pouring rain. When it came I was surprised it was smaller than I had expected, but it fits very nicely into his 6pk cooler sized lunch box that he carries (like most construction guys). He plugged it in and his office started to smell his lunch and they were all like what is that? He told them and that night a whole bunch of them wanted the link to where I bought it. He said he plugged it in about an hour before lunch and it was perfect temperature and ready to go when he was ready to eat. He did learn the hard way that you should take the clear top off the internal cup before heating. It can just sit on the top, but not secured for easier handling. I bought him an extra cylinder so one can be filled when one is dirty. All and all it is a great little product that works as intended and is a great price. I think this would be great for a college kid as well. A retractable cord on this thing would be awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Time and money saver I bought 6 of these for Christmas gifts and kept one for myself. One was given to a first year college student who is required to live in the dorms and microwaves are not allowed. She said this is perfect to put in oatmeal, can of soup, top ramen....then while it heats she studies and it is ready when she is hungry without timing meals to the cafeteria hours of operation. I use it to bring in my non-frozen leftovers, plug it in when I get to work, by lunchtime 3-4 hours later it is the perfect temp. Food stays moist and I don't have to waste break time to heat up in the microwave at work. It saves so much money this way! My only complaint is that I have been using this several months now and the plastic lid for the insert is warped and doesn't stay sealed. Not a huge deal but something that they need to send back to the engineers to fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing ever!!! Ordered the lunch crock and 2 extra crocks for my hubby to use every day for lunch....He is a teacher at a HS and they have 1 microwave for all the staff at lunch.... The first day he used it, I got an email calling me a GENIUS! Everyday in the first week, I get messages that say MMMMMMMMMMMMMM.....This is exactly what he needs for a fresh, tasty lunch daily!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than using the microwave! I bought 3 of the mini crock pots about 2 years. I gave 2 as gifts and kept the 3rd one for myself. I LOVE it. I am a school teacher and have very little time for lunch. So having my lunch nice and hot when I need it is perfect. I don't have to waste half of my lunch time waiting in line for the microwave. Besides, most of the time the microwave is gross anyway. Everyone who sees it comments about it. It works great with meats and veggies, pasta dishes and obviously soups and chili. I love that I can leave the mini crock pot at school and only bring the inside bowl and lid home to wash and refill with leftover for the next day. Everyone should have one. It makes a great gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection for warm lunches I bought one a week ago after seeing them advertised around on newsfeeds. The shipping was FAST!!! I tested it with just a can of beans. I thought when it said it was "slow" that it might take several hours. (Like plug in once you get to work at 8am and it would be hot by lunch at noon). NO!! My beans were hot in about a 30-40 minutes. I can't wait to use it tomorrow at work and make m coworkers jealous. Love this!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I have been using one of these for years! I keep it in my desk for the days I bring soup or something similar. I plug it in at 12:00 and lunch is ready to eat at 1:00. A lady at work has been eyeing mine so glad to be able to gift her one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I would have known these exist earlier! I use this every day at work for my lunch. I leave the base at work and bring the food container with me in the morning, drop it in, and by lunch time have a nice hot lunch. Sure beats having to use the dirty microwave that everyone else uses! I've heated up soup, meatloaf, pasta, rice, chicken, and it all turns out great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my Lunch Crock! This product is easy to work with and provides me with a hot lunch in about two hours. It fits well on my desk, I plug it in around 9:00 AM and have a hot lunch, ready to go by 11:30 AM. This was a wonderful Christmas present. I do absolutely love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Food Warmer My husband read about this for teachers and asked me if I would like it. It was sort of a joke because it was an ad. But I said it looked interesting and he bought it for me for Xmas. I have to tell you it is great for teachers. We are not allowed to have microwaves in our rooms for fire hazard reasons. Plus, our lunch is 30 minutes and I am all the way at the back of the building. So, I literally don't have time to heat up food and then eat it. What started as a joke ended up making my life so much easier. I actually hot meals every day now. My only wish is that I could buy a second insert to rotate them out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lunch without the microwave! I bought two of these for my family and they have already been used several times. They are a convenient size that is not only portable but also fits a good amount of food. It takes about an hour to get food from cool to hot so we just plug it in about an hour for lunch. We don't like to microwave our food if we don't have to and this handy little Crock lets us have hot food without the microwave.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Spills :( Very cute item and warms perfectly... however, unfortunately All of that is not important if the thing leaks. The inner gray lid will not stay on and comes off when it is barely moved which means the food gets all over the place inside the container- and able to really use because the inner lid does not work. The lid is not broken and nothing is wrong with it it is just a poor design and it simply does not work. I read other reviews before purchasing this and I should have just not purchased I guess because there were other buyers that stated the same problem

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish I had knew of this sooner! Didn't think I would need this with having a microwave around at work but this is way better! Food is warmed thoroughly avoiding hot spots and because I eat food that "smells", there's no need to worry about a scent permeating my office. Food is perfectly warmed (not too hot and not too cold) about 45mins-1 hour after being plugged in. Portion size is just right. I would recommend this! But be warned as other reviewers have mentioned.. the inner lid is flimsy and liquids will spill during transport. If not for that, would've given it 5 stars.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovin' It for my Work Lunches! I bought this primarily for my work lunches. I've been using it for a couple of weeks, and I have used it on lunches with a good amount of liquid (baked bean dish) and more of a casserole type (chicken and rice). The sweet spot either way seems to be about 1.5 hours for ready-to-eat now food. Two hours or more will give you hot food. I leave the crockpot at work but take the inner container back and forth from home to work with the food in it. I do put it in a plastic bag for extra protection but have not had any problems yet with spillage or leakage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It! Perfect size, food is heated through and through not like the microwave, cold in spots. I bought one for my husband too, we both keep the bases at work and bring the bowls back and forth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ****❤️❤️❤️**** I bought three of these after reading all the reviews! As I engage in microwave wars every day between 12 and 1 I thought this could be a really great way to avoid that whole scene. I can't tell you how delighted I was when I tried it for the first time and it was absolutely perfect! The soup was piping hot and cleaning the pot was a breeze. Now having verified that this was an absolutely amazing purchase; I gave one to my best friend who practically fell over when he saw it. I got a text the next day bout the spaghetti that was divine! The other one? Well, lets just say that I'm like Golum w that ring.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I was looking for. I decided to purchase this product so I may stop using the microwave in the lunch room. When I received the Smart Pot I thought it was small, but was able to cook 1/2 of cup of dried oatmeal for breakfast and in the afternoon reheat a full 10oz bag of frozen vegetables. The oatmeal cooked within 45 min and the vegetable within the hour. Clean up was simple and transporting the Smart Pot was easy because it is lightweight and has a handle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this little crockpot lunch carrier! I have been taking lunch in this since I got it a week ago and it works great for me. I plug it in my office about an hour before lunch time and I have hot food right at my table. Love the convenience and portability. The 4 stars is for the lid that comes loose easily. One day, it toppled in the car and the lid came open pouring the food out. Since then, I made sure it stays upright all the time. Simple fix. I hope crock-pot fixes this issue and I will buy the improved product in a heartbeat. The clean up is easy too. I let the inner-pot soak for an hour in warm soap water and it cleans like a non-stick. Thank you for this wonderful product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for lunch I bought this crockpot because I was going back to work after having a baby and would Not have much time to eat. I throw my soup in the container and plug it in at the beginning of my day, and by lunch it is perfectly hot. I’ve been playing with other items, such as oatmeal, and it’s perfectly cooked. Leftovers reheat nicely also. I’ve tried eggs but that definitely needs a full 4 hours to cook the whole way. I love this little crockpot so much that I bought another one for home. Also, I have had no leaking, even with my soup. I only wish we could get them battery operated though. It is not always possible to find an outlet to plug it into.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this little lunch crock I bought this and it really makes lunch time easier. I don't have to wait to use the microwave at work anymore, which is a huge plus. It heats soups up in a relatively short amount of time, and it holds a good amount. The lid to the small metal insert isn't great... when transporting it, I keep it in a gallon size ziplock bag, just in case it leaks - so far, so good and I haven't had any leakage. The only other minor inconvenience is storing the cord on the bottom of the unit. I have to unplug and move it while it's hot, so the cord is usually unraveled as I eat lunch since I can never get it back in its place with anything in the pot.
