Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for lunch I bought this crockpot because I was going back to work after having a baby and would Not have much time to eat. I throw my soup in the container and plug it in at the beginning of my day, and by lunch it is perfectly hot. I’ve been playing with other items, such as oatmeal, and it’s perfectly cooked. Leftovers reheat nicely also. I’ve tried eggs but that definitely needs a full 4 hours to cook the whole way. I love this little crockpot so much that I bought another one for home. Also, I have had no leaking, even with my soup. I only wish we could get them battery operated though. It is not always possible to find an outlet to plug it into.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this little lunch crock I bought this and it really makes lunch time easier. I don't have to wait to use the microwave at work anymore, which is a huge plus. It heats soups up in a relatively short amount of time, and it holds a good amount. The lid to the small metal insert isn't great... when transporting it, I keep it in a gallon size ziplock bag, just in case it leaks - so far, so good and I haven't had any leakage. The only other minor inconvenience is storing the cord on the bottom of the unit. I have to unplug and move it while it's hot, so the cord is usually unraveled as I eat lunch since I can never get it back in its place with anything in the pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy I bought two and when our office had a best slow cooker dish competition, I suggested that we buy some to use as prizes. This has turned out to be a great purchase. It looks great and it gets the food nice and hot in a way that can't be compared with heating your food in the microwave. A winner of the contest has been using it to keep some nice, hot nacho cheese at his desk. Needless to say, his desk has been a favorite hangout in the workplace.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE this product - so handy - we use them at work. The pot warms things up perfectly - great for anything - soup, stew, rice, veggies, meat - everything - and it does not smell while cooking - which is a plus at work. No one wants the smell of food in the office all morning. I highly recommend it. We are three admins sitting in a row and all three of us use ours at least two or three times a week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for office lunch! it took me a while to convince myself (and my boyfriend) that i needed another slow cooker, but when these went on sale in december, i bought four. it's just perfect for a simple, hot lunch at work. i no longer have to stand in line for the microwave, and i don't need to waste minutes of my lunch time nuking and stirring! i've had soup, lasagna, and even falafel and eggplant (separated by parchment paper), and each meal was perfectly heated through when i was ready to eat. another bonus is that the smell stays inside the container, so coworkers aren't made prematurely jealous of your delicious lunch. the only bad thing i can think of is that it's just a little difficult to wind up the cord without tipping the whole device and possibly spilling the contents. i've already given away two of the extras to friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I keep the pot in my office and take the liner back and forth. It heats up very quickly and is small enough to keep in my desk. I have a second one at home to make oatmeal. I set it on a timer the night before and the oatmeal is ready for breakfast. Perfect and creamy every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hubby thought it was a joke, not now! I got a while ago, thinking my husband who had just started a new job would love to use it. He thought it was a joke, and it took me a while to convince him to try it. Once he did however, he has never looked back. all the guys at work questioned him about it. And now most of them have their own. He was worried about the aroma all over the office as it cooks, but there’s none until you open it. He says it’s great in more ways than one. Not only is his hot filling meal to keep him going, but he doesn’t have to wait for it to cook, just sit and eat. I have been cooking bigger meals so I can freeze individual ones as I am cooking. he just picks what he wants the night before, dumps it in, and plugs it in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for my husband's lunches! This is perfect for my husband's lunches. He is very busy at work and in the past he would pop something into the microwave, get distracted by a phone call, customer, etc and forget about his lunch. He would end up microwaving repeatedly. Now,we fill this little crock pot with left overs or soup, he plugs it in and its ready when he is. And it is the perfect temperature and texture. Never burns or dries out. Perfect! We have used this almost every day since our purchase. He brings home the inner liner to be cleaned and refilled, leaving the outer part of crock pot at work. Pleased with our purchase. This would also make a great gift.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product. I love the fact that I fill it in the morning before I go to work. Then when I get there all I have to do is plug it in and by lunch time I have a hot lunch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product I totally enjoy this product! When I enter the teachers lounge on a cold winters day, after recess duty, I know that my soup will be warm and waiting for me. I cannot express what a comfort that is. The size of the interior is perfect .. maybe too big for most soups. I have not tried any noodle or rice and sauce dishes yet, but I think those would work too. Temperature - produces a just starting to steam soup. Seal works during transport. Cleanup is easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing but praises This little gadget has been a lifesaver and I have nothing but praises for it. I just plug it in before my class starts and about an hour later I have piping hot food for lunch. I was stuck in a working situation where I had no access to stove and this baby gave me hot meals every day. I've cooked oatmeal, eggs, rice and salmon, rice and corn beef, rice and sardines. I've even baked biscuits; they don't get color but they came out perfect. I only wih that it came with two compartments, so I could cook things separate. Quite a number of my school mates and work mates have bought one or two for their households after seeing how mine works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love and use all the time I received one of these about 4-5 years ago as a gift from a family member. At first I was a little hesitant to use it, but after using it just once I now use it all the time. I mainly use it to heat up my soups, gumbo, or any other rice dish that I might be taking for lunch. Because I use it all the time and my coworkers ask about it, I decided to buy 3 more as gifts this year. It isn't a huge size, but that's okay as it is just big enough for a lunch-size portion. It heats up my soups better than sticking a bowl or container in the microwave. What I like about it is that it heats everything evenly without bowling over in the microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doesn't leak smells Awesome product. Doesn't smell up the office with food smells which would annoy coworkers. Seems to heat to the perfect temperature whether it's on for almost 4 hours or as little as 2 hours. I add cheese about 20 minutes before lunch and keep it unplugged until lunch. It's small and only takes up the space of an insulated lunch container. The cord wraps in a manner so it looks like a non-electric container (so it doesn't draw attention to itself). The handle is great for carrying, so I usually keep the unit all together and carry it back and forth each day instead of keeping the unit at work and just carrying the removable liner container. The removable container and cover are very easy to hand-wash. It holds the perfect amount of food - enough to make me uncomfortably full (so I don't have to worry about being hungry after lunch).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love colors available I love this little thing. I can have a hot lunch every day of the week without leaving my desk. I get to work in the morning, plug my leftovers or soup in and by 1100 my lunch is hot and waiting on me. I would like to see a unit with maybe a high/low control and maybe a vent to let the excess moisture escape during heating. Lid tends to be a little drippy when you open. Otherwise, a great little product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Workplace hero I bought this for my husband who is a diesel mechanic to warm his lunch at his tool box station while he works - he loves it! He takes frozen food, usually rice and meat, and by lunch time he's ready to go. No microwave- no dried out, nuked food. He's had all the guys gathering around asking where to get theirs since it's such a novel idea! I also bought 2 more as gifts for my mother and sister in law - they both also love it! I think I'm gong to order the hubs another one because he also likes to take frozen California veggies and warm them in butter with seasoning. Such a convenient product, and it's been fun to come up with new ideas for it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The little lunch warmer that could This little lunch warmer was a blessing. We just had an outdoors adventure in Utah, where we had spaghetti in which we used 4 warmers band they worked out perfect. The food was warm the whole time while we trekked the mountains of Utah. We used an inverter in the car and plugged the 4 on the go warmers up and the load took fine. We also had other food warmed in the same warmer for our other outings and yes everything worked out just fine. My thoughts are to prepare our food anytime we go anywhere so we don't have to stop for fast food and always have home cooked meals on the go. This product was great on the clutch. Happy eating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love it! I bought this when it was a special deal, because I love kitchen gadgets. Little did I know I would fall in love. I am a teacher, and I have about 20 minutes to eat. I bring my lunch in the small warmer container and I put it in the crock-pot when I get to work. By lunch time my food is warm and ready to go. I love it so much I am going to by each member of my department a lunch crock for Christmas! Yay!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Have Used for 6 Years I love my little Crock Pot warmer. I have used mine for about 6 years now and have bought several for gifts. I don't like using microwaves and this makes bringing a healthy lunch convenient. The size is just right for a regular portion of meat, veggies, and even some noodles or rice. I have used it for soup, spaghetti, meatloaf & mac & cheese, chicken, pork tenderloin - just about anything. It warms my food in about 30 - 45 minutes. I use mine just about daily and the lid stays tight. I have had zero issues and would recommend to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wish i could give a better review. I wish I could give more to this crock-pot but unfortunately I don’t think this would be fare. My husband got one for me a few months ago, and I just love it. Some birthdays came around at my office, and my friends decided that they wanted the same thing for their birthday, and my husband also decided to get one once I started to say how awesome it was to be able to eat fresh hot food not microwaved. So basically, I got a total of 6 crock-pots lunch: 2 for my house, and another 4 as gifts. To the utility, I need to give 5 stars plus! Is awesome how food comes out of it hot, and lets not even talk about soups in cold days, it’s a blessing! It’s portable, and fits almost everywhere (My husband carry his one inside of his lunch box, and I keep mine inside of a drawer at my office, so is small enough to keep it somewhere out of your sight, but big enough to hold food enough for an adult feel satisfied). The down side is some of the materials they use. I read two times the instructions, and in both manuals, don’t say to take the lid of before turning it on. So, our food takes an average of 1 hour to be hot, and that’s the amount of time we keep them on, but the lids from the stainless steel pots are shrinking and bending after only 2 or 3 uses. Unfortunately now is not safe to send soups with my husband for lunch, or anything that has liquid, because the lido won’t close. We requested a new pot, and they kindly sent another one, free of charges, but even taking the lid before heating, the warmness of the crock-pot after using it is enough to shrink and bend them, making useless the stainless steel pot to carry liquids or soups. I love the idea of eating warm food every day, but we need to retain ourselves in eating solid food (rice, meats and steam vegetables) because even beans are nor thick enough for the lid and at the end you have food everywhere. I am still looking for something safer and maybe get something else to keep our food warm during lunch break. Too bad isn’t this one. Note: The same problem happened with all the 6 of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb! Couldn't be happier to find this little gadget! I'm an athlete and meal prep it's a must. Having to eat cold food or hustling around to find a microwave it's no longer an issue. My meals are more satisfying and healthier since someshow microwaves makes food less healthy by taking away nutrients. The portable crockpot keeps food super hot and ready to eat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for an office This crockpot is just the cutest little thing ever! I don't have a microwave in my office so I typically bring in lunches like salads or cold cut sandwiches. This has changed up my lunch game since I've had it. I have been making homemade soups and chili's, and each night I fill the inner container and put it in the fridge with the lid on overnight. In the morning, I just grab the container, put it inside the outer heating portion, twist on the outer lid and toss it in my bag. Once at work, I plug it in and by lunch it's completely heated through and ready to eat. The cleanup is easy as the inner container and lid are dishwasher safe. I also really like that the power cord is able to wrap around the base and is held in place. I have also had no issues with leaks occurring while in transit to work, which is a huge positive. Keep in mind, this is a food warmer and is not intended to actually cook something like chicken from raw, but it works great for its intended purpose. I look forward to continue using this in the future and plan to purchase as a gift for a family member during the holidays as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to have a hot lunch The lunch crock-pot is a great way to have a hot lunch. It has performed well with leftovers, soup, and mac n cheese. The removeable liner makes for easy clean up and the inner seal lid does a good job preventing spills and leaks. Only drawback to the product is the price, it costs as much as a full size crock-pot and was only available online. If you prefer a hot lunch and don't have a microwave available this is a great option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Portable, efficient, adorable! Purchased this for myself and 2 friends at work. We love them! It’s an incentive to take homemade food to work. Plug it in at your desk in the morning and the food is nice and hot in a couple of hours without letting any smells out until you open the container. Depending on what you take, you can also prepare a side salad to accompany your hot lunch. If you’re home, you can set it for when you’re doing chores and your food will be ready when you are. You can also set it up to keep food warm for your spouse or children if they’re not going to be home in time for dinner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lid leaks I've owned two of the lunch crocks. I work in the construction industry, and it's great to have a hot lunch some days. The first one had the much mentioned issue with the cord being badly engineered and eventually leading to exposed wires. The newer design fixed that issue, but still has one major flaw--the lid doesn't stay on at all. So, I can't just put it into a bag without being very careful that it remains upright. Love the product for it's warming ability and size, but please consider making an inner screw on lid with a gasket and keeping the small vent hole.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great item I bought this for my son 's birthday to use at work He does not like to use a microwave. He says it is much better than a Thermos, which only kept his food lukewarm. He already has used it several times and is very happy with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing ever Received the Crock pot lunch warmer as a gift and have used it now for at least 2 years. The best thing that has ever been made. I leave the warmer portion at work on my desk, take the inside container home, fill after dinner, bring it back to work, heat the food up and have a wonderful, healthier lunch. No waiting in lines and spending too much money at the hospital cafeteria for less than appealing food. I have brought soup, chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, vegetables, lasagna, spaghetti, everything. I love having a meal that is the way I like it and tastes great. So much better than warming food in the microwave. I have recommended this product to many of my friends and coworkers. At work, we have set up a time where we meet once a week to get away from our desks and to talk other than work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Inner lid won't stay secure after one use. Received the (lime green handle) lunch crockpot this year as a Christmas present and was so excited to use it. Worked perfectly when used the first time. However, now the lid for the inner container won't stay sealed. There are multiple complaints on Amazon about this inner lid not staying sealed after the first time heating. Heating instructions says to leave inner lid on while heating and it will pop off during the heating process to prevent steam build up. Just read Amazon reviews which contained a response from a crockpot representative that advised the lid should be removed before heating; this is contrary to the manufacturer's instructions. How can I order a replacement inner lid?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick heating is a great plus. I love being able to finaly eat a hot lunch at work without having to purchase one there in adition to our monthly grocries. The only problem I have with my lunch crock is that the plug will not always stay cliped under the unit when the cord is tucked around the crock. However I am more than willing to put up with this in return for a hot lunch.
