This is not up to CrockPot Standards
I purchased 11/26/2019. I loved it. Used it on average 2x per week. However, after 13 months, steam started leaking and would not seal. I thought it was the ring seal. I contacted customer service and got an inappropriate response regarding recalled products, mine is not on recall. Now, I have discovered the real problem, the seal button fell off, it was probably not closing properly which is why the steam escaped. I contacted customer service again. Was told they were sorry about the inconvenience, but they do not have replacement parts for this issue. The unit works fine, except for this one defect. I hesitate to buy another express since they were very unhelpful with this issue.

Disappointed and scared
Ive alwaya trusted your products and thats why i chosw the Crock-Pot 2100467 Express Easy Release | 6 Quart Slow, Pressure, Multi Cooker, Stainless Steel which I've had for about one year. Today i felt rather unsafe using this product. The little nob to control the pressure release fell off and I had to release the pressure by hand which in my opinion is extremely dangerous. It is disappointing since i just had it for a bit over a year and I use it maybe once a week. I need help getting a replacement lid or how to get it fixed. I'm a single mom and cannot afford to buy a brand new one of these.

This is the 3rd Crockpot Express 6qt that I have tried this week. I was gifted one of these last year and it worked so well! Unfortunately, there was a safety recall so it was returned and replaced with this model. The problem I am having is that steam leaks out the entire parameter of the lid, then after about 20min of trying to reach pressure, it makes a horrible harmonica sounding noise and the pressure valve starts to release on its own with no warning. I have everything set right with the lid in locked position, the seal gasket inside the lid is on correctly, the pressure release set to pressure, and the steam release cap pressed on. I called customer service and they had no solution other than to send a new one. They said they haven't heard of this issue and that no steam should leak around the perimeter of the lid. Anyone else with this issue? I'm so bummed, I loved my old one.

Use all the time!!
I love my pressure cooker. I use this 3 to 4 times a week. I can brown meat, quick cook beans, make a freezer meal in 20 minutes or less, or set it on slow and low. It is so versatile.

Steam Leaks - Really Annoying
I have the 4 quart which they no longer carry. I got a replacement less than a year later because the machine made a loud popping sound. The customer service was great! The replacement unit now leaks steam during the cooking process and it’s infuriating! Not sure I have warranty on the new one since it’s a replacement, but I feel like instant pot must be better than this.

Just got ours for Christmas... have used it nearly every night. Amazing how easy it is to use and how delicious. Do pick recipes from the included cookbook to start with and follow the directions exactly.

I love my Crock Pot Express but...
I bought this last year and have used it many times. Today the lid would not lock
I tried many times checked all parts and lid goes on but will not cluck over to lock. The little metal piece in back sticks out as I turn lid to secure and will not advance from unlock to lock.

I lost the power cord from a unit that's barely 2 years old, (SCCPPCc-V2) contacted the manufacturer to learn that the replacement power cord is no longer available from the manufacturer or the vendors they are working with for replacement parts because the unit is obsolete. Very unfortunate that I need to throw away a perfectly working crock pot, because the manufacturer doesn't have the foresight to use the same cords in their newer systems or maintain a supply of parts for their older units. They offered me a 20% discount on a new pot. No Thanks I don't think I will be buying this brand ever again.

Hello! This code appears when either the Lid or Steam Release Dial is being used incorrectly for a non-pressure cook setting. Please note that the Lid should never be used when using the BROWN/SAUT&Eacute;, SIMMER or BOIL settings. When using the Lid during the SLOW COOK or YOGURT settings, the Steam Release Dial must be turned to the open or &ldquo;Release&rdquo; position. If you receive the E5 Notification during any of these situations, then simply remove the Lid while using Brown/SAUT&Eacute;, Saut&eacute;, Boil, and SIMMER, or correctly position Steam Release Dial to &ldquo;Release&rdquo; while using SLOW COOK or YOGURT, and then unplug the unit for at least 5 seconds, re-plug it in and re-program your cook settings to begin cooking. I was told that you can't replace the inner pot. But they will give you a discount on a new unit. So I bought another brand and ended up with that same squeal. All other pots are a little shorter than Crockpot liner. The gaskets can't seal it properly.
