Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take back your lunch time I’m beyond thrilled with this Crockpot Go. I no longer have to bring cold food lunches to work. I usually plug it in on my last break before lunch. Which is about an hour before lunch. Then when lunch time rolls around my food is the perfect temperature. I can eat right when lunch time starts. So now I don’t have to spend half my lunch break waiting in line for the microwave, preparing food, or going out to eat somewhere for a hot meal. I get to spend my whole lunch break eating and relaxing. I can properly reheat my leftovers evenly now without over or under nuking them in the microwave. It’s lightweight with a good size handle for easy transport. There is no leaking or mess.. It's quite durable too. I've dropped it without leaving so much as scratch or bursting open. It’s actually smaller than most lunch boxes I’ve had over the years, yet it holds a good amount of food. This is great for winter time when I bring more hearty leftovers like stew. I’ve had everything from soups to left over lasagna to left over baby back ribs. It comes apart so it’s easy to clean with no staining. I have a lot of my coworkers out looking for their own. I have used it as a typical lunch box and brought cold lunches in it. It will keep it cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Cool Device This is a working mother's dream. I can eat at my desk and it does not have to be some healthy bar. The sky is the limit. Well depending on what you have at home. We always have leftovers at dinner. I am perfectly okay with eating yesterdays dinner as todays lunch. This electric lunchbox lets me do so. This is not for the super flashy moms. It looks nice but the styling is not something people will notice. The function however is a 10 out of 10. As long as your work station or breakroom has a plug reasonably close to a surface, you are set. It does not have a vacuum length cord but I have never had any issues. I do not usually use it to keep things cold but I can attest to it warming up food deliciously. It is not a microwave. It will not warm up your food in a couple of minutes. I usually plug it up an hour before lunch. I would say that is more than enough time to get you to that perfectly warm food eating temperature. Overall I feel comfortable saying this is great option for anyone that prefers home cooked food over whatever else you can get close to the office or can nuke in the microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best.lunchbox.ever! Okay, this Crockpot Go! Unit is officially the CUTEST APPLIANCE I have ever seen! I had no idea such a thing existed and am pleasantly surprised to find that it does. No more boring sandwiches for lunch at work! This miniature crockpot is basically a stainless steel electric lunchbox. It is not meant to cook uncooked foods like raw meat, but to warm leftovers or cold, pre cooked items. It can also keep food cold when not plugged in. This doesn't heat up super quickly and will need to be plugged in well in advance of eating, but it is seriously the coolest thing ever. My husband normally will not bring leftovers to work for lunch because he doesn't usually have a way to reheat them, or microwaving just ruins the taste or texture. With Crockpot Go! I can pack him, for instance, a chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and veggies leftover from the previous night. He can plug the crockpot in at work and his lunch will be hot and taste like it was just cooked in the oven, ready when he is. I will note that this does not shut off automatically and continues to heat while plugged in, so be sure not to forget the base is still on and burn the ever loving daylight out of the inner container after using. Cleanup is fairly easy as the removable container and lid are both dishwasher safe. The unit itself is not submersible and must be hand cleaned with a soapy wet cloth and then dried. Overall, this is an awesome product that I definitely see my household using heavily. I would recommend it to anyone who eats on the go and wants to upgrade their lunchbox!
