Hoisin Sriracha Chicken Wings
½ cup Hoisin Sauce
¼ cup + 1 tablespoons Sriracha Sauce (divided)
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon sesame oil
3 pounds chicken wings
½ cup chopped scallions (green onions - optional)
1 tablespoon sesame seeds to sprinkle (garnish)
Coat inside of slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray.
(Tip: Broil chicken 10-12 minutes before adding to slow cooker)
In mixing bowl; combine hoisin sauce, ¼ cup sriracha sauce, grated ginger, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir to blend
Pour sauce mixer over wings in slow cooker, stir to coat.
Cover; cook on LOW 3.5 to 4 hours
Remove wings to large serving platter; cover with foil to keep warm
Turn slow cooker to HIGH. Cook, uncovered 10-15 mins or until sauce thickens. Stir remaining sriracha sauce.
Add wings back to slow cooker and stir to coat
