Disappointed
I bought this to replace my 1.5-Quart Rival slow cooker, which has a very cracked plastic lid. I use my slow cooker to cook oatmeal overnight every work day (5 times/week). I like the fact that the Crock-Pot is the same size and that it has a glass lid. However, it cooked some of the oatmeal such that it stuck to one side, but left the bulk of it very watery. From my perspective, this was a complete failure to produce my desired outcome. As such, I am babying the Rival lid as it works!

Not as expected
I was looking for a 2.5 quart stoneware replacement but, purchased this instead as I was told it would satisfy my needs. Not so.

Is my 2 qt crock pot cooking too hot
I just rediscovered my little crock pot. It seems to be cooking too hot. I put a barley risotto recipe in that called for cooking 7-9 hours. Just tested the barley after 4 hours - it's already cooked and will be mush in another "3 hours". The edges of the risotto are bubbling a little. Is that a sign my crock pot heating element is broken????

Perfect for Parties!
This little crockpot does just what it promised. Love to take hot dips, cheeses, etc. to gatherings and parties. This crock pot is not going to provide the bells and whistles of a large crock pot, but that is not what it is intended to do. Small meals for 2, no fuss dinners, parties, etc. are what is to be used for. I love it! I want 4 of them to use in a buffet for parties! Buy them!

My timer solution
I have been using a timer that plugs into the outlet. I set the time to begin cooking and to stop cooking. I mostly use it for oatmeal. At night, I place the oats and water into the crockpot. I set the timer to turn on at 4 am and off at 6 am. The oatmeal is ready when I get up.

a waste of money
I didn't notice that there were np controls when I bought it. I am one person who is away during the day. Used once for dinner while I was home. The bottom of the food was burnt.
This pot is of no use to me. Can't return it used.
Why can't crock pot make a small digital 2 qt pot for 1 or 2 people? There are many retirees and singe people out here. A recipe book for small pots would be nice too.
The recipes in the manual are awful.

not useful
I bought this several months ago and have found it to be nothing more than a warming pot. I've not been able to slow cook anything it in without it being overcooked.
