Rated 1 out of 5 by from No luck I bought this slow cooker about 6 months ago because my old Crock Pot saw its last day. We have had a horrible experience with this model. We have tried to cook chili, beef stew, cream of chicken and cream of potato soups and turkey breast. I thought it was me not used to this model, all the items I have tried to cook are cooking so fast. My soups have turned into clumps of mush, chili is bubbling and my turkey has come out so dry. We have not been able to eat anything we cooked. We have tried to cook on low instead of high nothing seems to work. I think I have a faulty Crock Pot!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great. Took a while to get here. Packaging was good, but the outer shell on the Crock pot was damaged. While this does not affect the usage, it makes it look bad. Not gonna return it because of that, just thought you should know.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the capacity and programmability. Overall very nice but should be equipped with a lid that can be latched down and secured for make and take scenarios.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 qt Crock Pot I've always been a fan of Crock Pot and I have many different sizes. The 8 qt just allows me to prepare larger meals, like a 10 pound turkey with ease. You haven't tasted moist turkey till you try it in a crock pot. I have broken the inner crock on one but entirely my mistake. Love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from crock-pot review My husband got this crock pot but it didn't come with any books or instructions with it. I have used it once and I like the way you can cook your food and then it will automatic go to warm. I gave it a 5 star due to the second sentence but disappointed about the books that should have been there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Messy This crock-pot's lid does not have a steam release opening, so it spews hot condensation and steam out the sides all over the counter and me. If it had a different lid I would recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgrade to large meals...and digital ! Bought this as a gift for my wife (she specifically requested it!). This takes the traditional Crockpot into today’s real world and routines. Using time and/or temp to cook then automatically setting itself to warm has been a needed feature for years. Coupled with 8 quart capacity and it’s the perfect kitchen cooking appliance. It kept us from upgrading our oven instead !! When you need to cook a whole bird, a ham and multiple side dishes a single oven won’t cut it. No longer a problem with the programmable 8 qt models. Success!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good feature buy pricey. This is a good quality crock pot that has great features. The ability to select a cooking time is really handy. The crock itself is heavy and solid. The controls are intuitive and easy to figure out even without reading the instructiins. After using this several times I had no problems with it. I really like being able to leave the house and know dinner won't get overcooked if we're running late. It cleans very easily after soaking even when food is baked on to it. The only drawback I found is the price. At this price point for only $30-$40 more you can get a product that can do so much more than this crock pot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to my kitchen!! Hands-down, this is a great addition for my kitchen. I never even thought about having a programmable crock pot before and always had a watch it, not this one!! Once the timer is done, it changes itself to warm. I’ve always use ones with dials and this takes my cooking till whole different level. The stainless steel on it matches my kitchen appliances almost exactly like it deserves to be left out and not put away. It’s also large enough I can have anybody come over and be able to cook for everybody. This crock pot is amazing!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome crockpot This crock pot is awesome. It cooks food evenly and perfectly. The timer feature is a life saver. You can set it and forget it. The other feature that I liked is the feet on the crock pot. The feet are sturdy and also protect the counter surface. Can’t wait to make more dishes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why did I wait so long? I finally recently got a slow cooker. I really enjoy cooking from scratch for the family, but there is nothing that compares to the fix it and forget it ease of crock pot cooking with a favorite cut of meat and the right sauce, whether it is all from scratch or the grab and go meal kits easily found at my local grocery store. Low and slow is my favorite setting and I love how the aromas fill my home throughout the day. The warm setting holds any dish very nicely for a varied schedule and cleanup could not be easier.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Crock-Pot Black Stainless Collection Programmable This product is excellent for large groups or gatherings, but not practical for your average family on a daily basis. It provides even heating and cooking, and is easy to clean. The modern look with simple display provides an aesthetic appeal when in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Family friendly! I am really grateful I have this product in my house now . I have a growing family and it's a blessing to be able to cook for them. I don't have a lot of time but I want to make healthy meals. This programmable Crock-pot allows me to leave the food to 'cook itself' while I take care of the kids. It is quite large and takes over the counter top but I appreciate the quantity of food I am able to cook at once. It is as heavy as expected but easier to clean than expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! This Crock-Pot is fantastic for feeding a crowd. It is stylish and functional. I love that I can set it all the way out to a 20 hour cooktime (great for making bone broth). I always get a little concerned about the design of the lid handles as it seems to be a weakness and it hasn't improved. But overall, a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Size, Appearance and Cooking The first thing I noticed when I took my new 8 quart Crock-Pot slow cooker out of the box was its sleek oval design and its attractive black stainless steel finish. I decided it would be the perfect size to make a pork tenderloin. The control panel is easy to use and I was impressed that the digital timer counts down cooking time up to 20 hours. When cooking time is up it automatically keeps the food warm until you turn it off. After 4 hours we enjoyed a delicious moist pork tenderloin for dinner. I can't wait to try my next recipe and make corned beef in this Crock-Pot..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for parties! I really like the Crock-Pot 8qt Programmable Slow Cooker. It is huge! This is a great feature for large families, parties, or making extra to have leftovers. Just be careful to make sure to fill it quite a bit. I am used to a smaller Crock-Pot and used that amount of chicken in the large one and had parts that were burnt. It needs a lot of food to make sure it is not going to burn. I also like that it had the countdown timer. It is a neat feature that let’s you visualize how long if left. The timer is not required to use the Crock-Pot, but is handy. The only thing I am not a fan of is how heavy it is to clean. It does not fit into the sink very well (awkward shape is too wide for my sink) and is very heavy once water is inside. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a big Slow Cooker!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient unit Right out of the box the look of the crock pot was impressive. The stainless steel fits in nicely with my kitchen. The unit itself is pretty straightforward in terms of use. There are three settings, high, warm and low. The timer can be set increments of a half hour. It probably would be better in increments of 15 for long cooking cycles . I do like the feature of it switching to warm after the cooking time is reached but it seems that the temperature is still a little bit to high on warm because my food was still boiling on warm. The size of the cooking insert is big enough to hold a small ham and 10 pork chops and all was cooked evenly and true to the time it stated in the recipe. I do wish there was another insert possibly not as deep or one split into two sides for smaller

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and looks nice! I was given a Crockpot 8 quart crockpot to product test. I was very impressed with this crockpot. It was so easy to use. It is programmable so you are able to pick the temperature and the length of time to cook. I used it to cook a whole chicken which worked very well due to the size. I also made baked potato soup in it. The look of this crockpot makes it look more high end. The stainless steel looks good and was easy to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! This crockpot works as advertised. I’ve used several crockpots over the past ten years and this brand is my favorite. The insert can be removed for marinating or if I prepare the meal the night before. And of course for washing it afterward. I’ve always had round crockpots before and I was hesitant about the larger, oval-shaped version. I have a smaller family and I was worried that the extra space would cause smaller amounts to burn or overcook quicker. But I didn’t have an issue with that, and I quickly realized that it’s perfect for cooking ribs and pork loin that didn’t fit as well in the round crockpot. It has a timer that’s simple to figure out and use. The only thing I wish is that it had the ability to lock the lid on for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A "Must Have" for large families! I received this Crock Pot 8qt slow cooker a few weeks ago and I have got to say that it has been very efficient for this hard working mama! The size of the pot inside holds a ton of food! I have cooked an entire package of chicken legs (around 10-12 drumsticks) and I have also cooked 5 lbs of pork riblets in this cooker. Having an 8qt slow cooker to feed our family of 7 has been absolutely amazing. The timer on the cooker is also extremely helpful because I don't have to worry about my food staying on the high setting for longer than I want it to. Once the timer is up, the temperature setting goes to "warm" until we are ready to eat. I love, love, LOVE this slow cooker!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, simple machine The slow cooker is 8 quarts, simple to use, and requires little oversight. It has an attractive, modern looking exterior (chrome and black), and would look nice in most kitchens. While the exterior section is a little light and somewhat flimsy feeling (with little pressure, the sides bend in a bit), the actual cooking pot is solid ceramic and sturdy. The glass lid is nice, as well. The first meal we made in the cooker was a curried vegetable stew, with different types of vegetables (potatoes, peppers, onions, chickpeas, etc) that all cook at different times. The cooker heated through consistently, and the heat remained consistent throughout. There were no burned sections, nothing stuck, and it was super easy to clean. Some negatives: this is a very basic model. You can turn it on and tell it how long to stay on. You can't set it to turn itself on at a later point. There's only high and low, no temperature setting. On an individual basis, we're only two people, so 8 quarts is way more space than we need. We should have gone with a smaller model, as we never need to make that much food at one time. Overall, this is a good product, well-made, and that does exactly what it's supposed to.
