Care & Maintenance

The lid and stoneware can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. The outside of the heating base may be cleaned with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water. Wipe dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

So, if I need to leave to work at 7am but I don’t want my meal to start cooking until 9am/10am for 6-8 hours, which this does not do. Im still unsure of how the “MyTime” feature works? For example, what food selection do I use for sauce and meatballs? Is that meat or soup? Please help

The programming works really well especially when you need to have to food ready by a certain time...I waited a few months before giving a review, because I wanted to try several different things before giving an honest review...I like to set it to have the food ready 30 minutes prior to needing it ready..just a personal preference..I use this crockpot for family gatherings and monthly church carry-in dinners..so easy to transport..This is hands down the best crock pot I have ever owned and I have had several different versions.

Every 5 minutes or so, it clicks for about 30 seconds, see the video. This cannot be right, there are many reviews, a couple of them mention clicking, but what are the odds I have two defective products, anyone else getting this same thing? The previous one didn't seem to heat correctly and now this one that just arrived and I am using for the first time makes this annoying loud clicking sound every five minutes which according to reviews elsewhere, reps have said this common and the crock pot will still work. That sound makes me think it works now but for how long?? Has crock-pot quality gone down that bad? Is time to find a new brand?

This can produce a soft, occasional clicking sound, however if the sound is unusually loud or happens rapidly and continuously, it could point to a malfunctioning thermostat. If the sound is excessively loud, we recommend discontinuing use of the slow cooker and reaching out to us.

You do not need to turn off your Crock-Pot&reg; Programmable 7-Quart MyTime Cook &amp; Carry&reg; Slow Cooker to stir your food during cooking.

However, only stir if needed, since lifting the lid releases heat and can slow cooking.

Never stir on Keep Warm if you&rsquo;re still cooking; that setting is just for holding food warm.

Always turn it off and unplug before cleaning or removing parts.

Stir safely, and you&rsquo;re good to go!
