Nonstick coating is bubbling and peeling
I've always purchased CrockPot brand cookers but I'll be looking elsewhere for my next one. I assumed, foolishly, that a ceramic pot was glazed inside, not covered with Teflon or whatever coating is used. I was disgusted to see last night that the coating on the bottom of the pot is bubbling and peeling. I can rip pieces off with my fingernails. I don't need "forever chemicals" in my food. Furthermore, this pot is less than a year old and has never been misused. It's obiviously a production flaw.

Love hate relationship
I finally broke down and bought a new Crockpot after needing one for so long. I loved this one because of the ceramic coating, so even without a liner is was so easy to clean! I used it 3 times and the insert broke in half! I have been searching for a new insert and cannot find one without paying the cost of replacing the whole unit. Maybe someday I will be able to get another one but they are expensive to be replacing after 3 uses :(

Inner lining started peeling within 2 uses
After just two times using this slow cooker for pulled chicken, the lining already started peeling and bubbling. I only ever washed the crock by hand using a soft sponge and dish soap, and I only ever used rubberized utensils when scooping out food. Really disappointed in the poor quality of the lining as this has never happened on one of my crockpot appliances before. The size of the crock is nice, and the locking feature allows for good transport. That being said, I don't want plastic lining flakes in my food, so I will not be purchasing a crockpot like this again.

Best crockpot I’ve ever had!
I love this crockpot! Mine is holding up great. I use it for prime rib, every holiday and it cooks very evenly and is very easy to clean. The program is simple and it’s so convenient how it automatically goes to warm in case you are not home. I would highly recommend this. Plus the locking lid. If you want to take it somewhere it’s great.

Looks good but failed to turn off
We've had this one for a year and have used it 3 times. Some of the coating has come off already, but the most infuriating feature is that when I turn the pot off by pressing the OFF button, it doesn't really turn off and continues to heat. I woke up this morning to a full pot of burnt chili. All lights were off on the panel after I pressed OFF the night before. I left it plugged in, but I assumed it would have actually been off. I'm very saddened.

Poor quality crockpot
I bought this crockpot at Target recently. I used it twice and the coating is already flaking off the bottom. You ruined a good product by switching to this junk coating. I sent 2 messages via Facebook Messenger to which nobody responded, so I’m leaving my feedback here. i have only ever owned Crockpot brands and have always gone back to your brand each time I upgrade. I’ve never been this disappointed with your brand as I am now.

Bad quality-Coating peeling
Got this as a Christmas gift from my husband. Was so excited. We have probably used this 4 times since then. Coating is peeling. This was to replace the previous 6 QT Crock-pot we had that did not have the Non-stick coating and we had for years. Quite frankly I wish we would have stuck with the previous one if this is what it means to have non-stick.

Ceramic insert cracked
Bought this a couple months ago to replace an older 6qt crock pot we have had for over 10 years and within two months the ceramic cracked and leaked. I can't even find a replacement ceramic and really don't want to pay Crock Pot another $60-100 if their quality is going to be this bad.

Hello there KimBoz! The heating base is subject to residual heat from cooking cycle. Due to the proximity between the heating element and the exterior of our slow cookers, it is normal for them to get quite hot on the outside. Therefore, on both the outside of the unit and in the product's instruction manual we recommend using a hot pad if you need to touch the unit during cooking. Do not touch heating base immediately after removing stoneware. Allow to cool before handling.
