Ceramic insert cracked/can’t find a replacement
Writing a long term review. We have had this for over three years. It has worked well until yesterday when the ceramic insert cracked almost completely in half within a few minutes of turning it on. Impossible to find a replacement insert for it, ceramic or otherwise. Other issues include the ceramic insert developing chips here and there and the warmer unit having some kind of broken off piece rattling around in the bottom. Otherwise we loved the programmable timer and the easy clean up with the ceramic coated insert. Had to buy a whole unit replacement however. Hope the insert lasts longer than this one did. Three stars for the failure and lack of replacement parts available.

Great for traveling and pot lucks!
The Crock-Pot 7-quart easy-to-clean cook & carry slow cooker in the shade black/stainless steel is amazing. This crock-pot can feed 9 people and it’s a lot bigger than I thought. Love the lock handles to keep everything from leaking when transporting especially to a potluck!!
I used today for a chili and no issues. It programmed and worked as intended. The locked handles are great as it keeps my kids from trying to lift the lid and possibly break.
I look forward to the continuous use of delicious food being made! Hopefully bring it to our next potluck!

Makes Life Easier!
I absolutely love this Crock-Pot! The 7-quart size is perfect for big family meals—I can fit a whole roast with veggies or make a huge batch of chili without worrying about running out of space. The “cook & carry” feature is a game-changer for potlucks and family gatherings; the locking lid keeps everything secure, so no spills in the car.
Cleanup is super easy too. The insert and lid both come clean quickly without scrubbing, which makes it way more convenient than my old slow cooker. I’ve used it for soups, pulled pork, and even desserts, and everything comes out tender and flavorful.

Practical and convenient!

Keeps food nice and warm!
I want to say I actually ended up buying this product myself. BUT, all my old crockpots were handed down to me by my parents so they were bound to break. So getting this one really changed the game for me. I love how it keeps food hot even after cooking. And I love how it snaps shut on the top! It makes transporting food to parties so easy because you’re not as afraid of it spilling everywhere. Super easy to use as well. Really straightforward. Also, easy to clean as it states, you don’t have to sit there and scrap food from the sides. Definitely will last me years to come.

Large capacity and lockable lid to prevent spills
We are a family of 5. This 7 quart size is perfect for my family size. We are also a very busy family. Children play sports year round. Most nights include work or school then practice or a game. My crockpot is my saving grace. I use it multiple times a week. I have owned a few crockpots in my lifetime. This one is my favorite. The size is spacious for lots of veggies & protein of choice. It cooks faster than the previous ones I have owned. It does not make a sounds while it quicks. The lid is great because you can lock it if you are bringing a meal on the go.

Non Stick Pot- no thanks
I really wanted to love a new crockpot but it is not something I want to use. It has a nonstick coating on the pot that you cook in, this was extremely disappointing to find out. I tried to do some research and couldn’t find anything saying it was an all natural coating etc so I do not like that this is non stick and toxic as I’ve gotten rid of all non toxic cookware. I felt it was smaller than expected for a 7qt crock pot and did not feel very sturdy. It has 3 pegs on the bottom that weren’t stable and easily able to be off balance. I also didn’t like the plastic rubber lining on the lid to keep it in place I felt like it made it hard to actually close the lid. I overall would not use or recommend this crockpot there are others out there that are so much better.

Hello there KimBoz! The heating base is subject to residual heat from cooking cycle. Due to the proximity between the heating element and the exterior of our slow cookers, it is normal for them to get quite hot on the outside. Therefore, on both the outside of the unit and in the product's instruction manual we recommend using a hot pad if you need to touch the unit during cooking. Do not touch heating base immediately after removing stoneware. Allow to cool before handling.
