Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us. All CrockPot units operates on a standard 120V AC. In terms of power consumption, our slow cookers are energy efficient, using approximately 45 to 150 watts of electricity on LOW and between 150 and 210 watts on HIGH (which is equivalent to the energy consumption of 2 standard light bulbs). We hope this information proves helpful. If you have any further questions you can reach out to us via https://www.crockpot.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat. We are available Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern Time. Thank you. CrockPot® Consumer Care.

Hello, On your slow cooker, both high and low stabilize at the same temperature (209°F); it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point. On high, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas, on low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. Once food reaches the simmer point, total cook time is dependent on the cut and weight of meat to reach the point of maximum flavor and texture potential. Most dishes can be prepared on either high or low. This is uniform across all of our current models. In the warm setting, your slow cooker will be between 165-175°F. Always cook with the lid on for the recommended time. Do not remove the lid during the first two hours of cooking, to allow the heat to build up efficiently. To avoid undercooking, always fill the stoneware ½ to ¾ full and conform to the recommended cook times (unless guided otherwise in our slow cooker recipes). Hello! Thank you for your inquiry regarding the Crock-Pot® SCCPCCM250-BT-BR. You should never lock the lid on for cooking; however, it is recommended to use the lid during the cooking process. The lid helps to trap heat and moisture, which are essential for cooking your favorite casseroles, dips, desserts, and more evenly. The Crock-Pot® Casserole Crock features our Cook & Carry® locking lid system, which provides a secure seal during transport to prevent spills or messes. While cooking, you can simply place the lid on top of the stoneware without snapping it into place. This allows for easy access to your dish when needed. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us via https://www.crock-pot.com/support/contact-us or through LiveChat. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9 am -5 pm Eastern Time.
