Care & Maintenance
- ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Thought I was buying a good Crockpot
So I bought this and DIDNT realize that after you set the timer the crockpot DOESNT turn off. So my food burned. Yes my fault but what crockpot doesnt turn off once timer is up?

Crockpot starts smoking
The first time I plugged this crockpot in it started smoking and the outside became extremely hot. Thankfully I was paying attention or I am sure it would have started a fire.

Crock has cracked again
This is the 3rd crock pot of this model and every one has cracked and deemed usable! I love the bigger size but obviously there is some type problem with the craftsmanship!

Waste of money

Ceramic insert defective

Good, simple machine
The slow cooker is 8 quarts, simple to use, and requires little oversight. It has an attractive, modern looking exterior (chrome and black), and would look nice in most kitchens. While the exterior section is a little light and somewhat flimsy feeling (with little pressure, the sides bend in a bit), the actual cooking pot is solid ceramic and sturdy. The glass lid is nice, as well. The first meal we made in the cooker was a curried vegetable stew, with different types of vegetables (potatoes, peppers, onions, chickpeas, etc) that all cook at different times. The cooker heated through consistently, and the heat remained consistent throughout. There were no burned sections, nothing stuck, and it was super easy to clean. Some negatives: this is a very basic model. You can turn it on and tell it how long to stay on. You can't set it to turn itself on at a later point. There's only high and low, no temperature setting. On an individual basis, we're only two people, so 8 quarts is way more space than we need. We should have gone with a smaller model, as we never need to make that much food at one time. Overall, this is a good product, well-made, and that does exactly what it's supposed to.
