Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

I have used it once and I like the way you can cook your food and then it will automatic go to warm. I gave it a 5 star due to the second sentence but disappointed about the books that should have been there.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Digital numbers-NOT This is the third CrockPot I've had. I was hoping, third times a charm. Didn't work that way for me. I didn't want to give up, I LOVE my slow cooker. The digital numbers can not be read. Some of the bars are burnt? Out and unless I count, I have no idea how much time is on the face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hot Garbage! Not a slow cooker Not sure how Crock-Pot gets away with calling this a slow cooker. There's nothing slow about it, Using the low setting, a 3 lb, 4 in thick beef roast was up to 170 degrees after four hours. The whole point is to slow cook your meal. This thing is garbage!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Done with brand name. Worst slow cooker ever. Every time I’ve used this crock pot it has burnt my food and reduced the liquid by more than half. The low setting boils the food all day! I hate that I spent so much money on this and I can’t even use it! I should have bought a Hamilton brand for $30!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hairline Crack in Stonewear My wife bought this at Macy's a while back, and on January 1 we used it for the first time. Upon unpacking we noticed a hairline crack in the Stonewear right out of the box. It's still usable with a liner, but obviously not up to my expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! This is an awesome crock pot - looks sleek and I really love the oval shape for fitting bigger, oblong cuts. I like the fact I can set the timer for more specific times instead of either 4 or 8 hours. Cooks evenly and looks good, I enjoy it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Danger - Do not buy this item Used my 8-quart pot 3 times. Black surface on cook pot is coming off. Metal wall of heating section burned thru. Do not buy this product. Always followed instructions. Never put pot in dishwasher. Never used metal utensils. I don't get it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke in the middle of cooking I only had this crock pot for a year and I was in the middle of cooking my dinner and I heard a pop I looked around and didn’t discover until I went to clean it that I see a big piece broke. Thank god I had a liner so it did not leak.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unit will not shut off? We cooked a meal overnight and shut the unit off in the morning. However, when we got home, the house was smoky and the unit was still on. I used a digital thermometer and it read it was well over 200 degrees. Very dangerous!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Crack on bottom of crock I use this only on Holidays because of the larger crowd at home. I have had it 2 years. I found a crack in the bottom of the crock after Thanksgiving. I am very disappointed because it will be very expensive to replace.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best Bought one last year, which was dented. Returned and replaced it with a second one. The second one lasted 6 uses and the ceramic pot cracked. My old crockpot lasted me 10+ years. They don't make them like they used to :(
