Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.
Warranty
1 Year Limited Warranty. See Instruction Manual for Additional Details.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsafe, burns food The last review I tried to put up they took down. This is an unsafe item. It burns the food in it regardless of the setting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this cooker! I am a professional chef and I have worked with many small appliances. This cooker boils everything no matter if it is set on low or high. Even the warm setting is too hot. The lid is flimsy and too lightweight and the outer wall of the cooker will burn you. Even the heat adjustment buttons are hot to the touch. I do not recommend this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke I brought this crock pot last year. It is now broken.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ceramic Cracked I’m very disappointed. We received this as a wedding shower gift a little over a year ago and have used it only about 10 times. The entire bottom ceramic basin completely cracked open and spilled liquid all over my counter top as it was cooking during the day. I have never had this happen before with Crock Pot brands, but according to the reviews it seems this is a very common thing to happen with this model. It’s confusing why it’s still on the market after how common this exact problem has been for many other customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! This Crock-Pot is fantastic for feeding a crowd. It is stylish and functional. I love that I can set it all the way out to a 20 hour cooktime (great for making bone broth). I always get a little concerned about the design of the lid handles as it seems to be a weakness and it hasn't improved. But overall, a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super sleek design I love the sleek modern design of the stainless shell. The ceramic insert allows for ease of cleaning. I like the ease of use of the digital control panel. The ability to see the remaining time on the meal as it is cooking is very helpful. The eight quart size of great for large families and for entertaining.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from digital number disappearing great crockpot, just the size i need, i only buy this name brand of crockpots. Its sad that the last one i bought was a programmable digital type. The numbers are slowly disappearing. I hope there is a warranty for this or a replacement. Other than this problems the crockpot brand is amazing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I have had several crockpots over the years. I wanted to replace my digital Kitchen Aid crockpot that I'd had for many years. I really liked the Kitchen Aid, but decided to try another brand. This crockpot over cooks everything. Even when put on warm, it is boiling. Very disappointed!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 8 qt Crock Pot I've always been a fan of Crock Pot and I have many different sizes. The 8 qt just allows me to prepare larger meals, like a 10 pound turkey with ease. You haven't tasted moist turkey till you try it in a crock pot. I have broken the inner crock on one but entirely my mistake. Love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient unit Right out of the box the look of the crock pot was impressive. The stainless steel fits in nicely with my kitchen. The unit itself is pretty straightforward in terms of use. There are three settings, high, warm and low. The timer can be set increments of a half hour. It probably would be better in increments of 15 for long cooking cycles . I do like the feature of it switching to warm after the cooking time is reached but it seems that the temperature is still a little bit to high on warm because my food was still boiling on warm. The size of the cooking insert is big enough to hold a small ham and 10 pork chops and all was cooked evenly and true to the time it stated in the recipe. I do wish there was another insert possibly not as deep or one split into two sides for smaller

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size and easy to use. I have had Crock Pots for years; This Pot is the best size for families. Yes, the pot does get hot but most of them do. This item is easy to use, and cleanup is a breeze. Controls are easy to use where you are able to set your temperature and time as it counts down. I love this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! Love it. my famoly and I have wanted a slow cooker for a while, and this one is perfect for us. It's a great size for the family, and the digital programming makes it very easy to use. I also like the stainless steel finish on the outside, which is easy to clean and looks great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It worked great until it randomly cracked I bought this and maybe had it for a year and a half. We live in Texas so we don’t make a lot of hot crock-pot meals throughout the year. I got it out to make dinner and it had completely cracked on its own!! It was such a bummer considering we haven’t even had it that long!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Stoneware Cracked—AGAIN This is the second crockpot I purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond within a year. The stoneware cracks and makes the pot useless! I now have to purchase a third!!!??? I got used to the pot cooking at a higher temp (so nothing slow cooks) but the cracked stoneware is too much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Display not working The digital display only displays part of the numbers. I have to count in my head to know how long I’ve set it for. It has gotten worse the last 2 times I’ve used it. It’s bad enough now that I need to replace it which is unfortunate when it’s only been used a few times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just 13 Months Then Crock Cracked Bought August 21, 2020. Tonight we did a pork roast. Ran it for 5hrs and shut it down. After a few hours, went to see if it had cooled down enough to transfer the pork to a container to go in the fridge, and there was a pool of the liquid all over the counter and everywhere… Crock had a hairline crack and had leaked all the way through. So unfortunate, I thought the first broken crock last year was a fluke, now the replacement I bought has done the exact same thing. not happy as this is two in a row…

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Large crack formed in bottom of pot Had it for several years suddenly I kept noticing food residue underneath the pot. Upon closer examination found a crack in the pot, roughly half the length of the bottom. I've never been rough with the product so no idea how such a crack would form.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed I purchased this product and first the handle on the lid completely cracked and fell apart. Then the bottom of the crock insert is completely cracked around the edge. For the amount of money I paid for this product it didn’t even a year….

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Crock-Pot Slow Cooker I really like this crock pot cooker. I prefer a larger size crock pot so that I can fit a meal large enough for my whole family inside and this crop is able to do that. I had a Crock-Pot that did not have the timer and I have to say the timer on this is one of the best features. I love that I can set the crock pot and forget it knowing that it will automatically switch over to the warming feature as soon as the cooking time has run out. I would highly recommend this particular model Crock-Pot to anyone who is looking to purchase a new one. I also love how easily the crock cleaned up. On my first attempt to make overnight oatmeal it burned in stuck to the sides really bad. All I had to do was soak the burnt food in baking soda and it eventually all came off and the crock is like brand new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great. Took a while to get here. Packaging was good, but the outer shell on the Crock pot was damaged. While this does not affect the usage, it makes it look bad. Not gonna return it because of that, just thought you should know.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't last long I've had this crockpot for about a year and a half, used it a handful of times. Today the crock part cracked and is garbage. Ver disappointed. My mom's from over 30 years ago still works great....was hoping for the same quality

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1st Time Used, Didn't Work I bought this literally last week. Got it a few days ago. Washed the stoneware and the lid, let it dry, started to use it. Put my meal in, turned it on, thought I smelled burning plastic, but couldn't pinpoint where it was coming from. I let be for a little while, went back and checked on it, and the unit was completely cold. I couldn't find any evidence of damage on the outside. I turned on and off, unplugged it and plugged it in somewhere else. It always came on, but never heated up again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Crock cracked Received this as a wedding gift in 2022. Loved the size but after 4-5 uses, it leaked all over our counter. When ir cooled I looked and the crock had cracked along half of the bowl on the curve upward.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Only 1 Temp - High Purchased this about a year ago. Every time we have this Crock Pot, it only cooks at High even when using the lower settings. Cannot just set it and come back later because everything burns.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Love the CrockPot, hate the high temps. I really like the features and look of this crock pot. I have burned more than one meal, even when it is just on warm. I don’t like that I can’t put soup in it and leave the house.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointed. I got this crockpot because of the size. I have only used it twice and the stoneware cracked. It sounded like two huge pops and the roast went everywhere. VERY Disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Always an excellent product! This is my second Crock-Pot Slower Cooker. Although this new one is larger than my first, it is just as easy to use, just as dependable, and just as well made.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed In Product have had this 8 quart now for 2 yrs., only use it 3-4 times a year. Digital readout is part way burned out and you can't read the time to cook, and now it only cooks on HIGH! I am not rough on appliances and bought this because of Crockpot's reputation. This was not a cheap purchase and expected it to last through several years. Disappointed that now I'm shopping again for a slow cooker

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor design of pot purchased Crock Pot 6 months ago, used twice and noticed or thought it had boiled over, liquid on bottom had burned. Used again and same thing happened, thought well too much in unit and had boiled over. Nope on third time same thing happened and found the stone pot thing had cracked - leaked liquid out onto burner thing. Crock pot is now useless. If I had read reviews before buying I would not have bought it. Why didnt Crock pot recall when then knew they had a problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Potential fire hazard! Received this crockpot as a gift after I dropped and broke my favorite crockpot. The only setting is high as far as I can tell. I had to work on Saturday so put cheesy hashbrowns in the crockpot before leaving for work in the morning. I put them on low, but by noon they were boiling ( luckily my adult children were home for the weekend). My daughter put them down to warm and went back outside to enjoy the beautiful day. When she came back in they were still boiling and a very dark color. We laughed about the “molten lava” potatoes but if my kids hadn’t been home for the weekend and if had just been gone all day I might have come home to a burnt countertop...at the very least. I will not be using this crockpot ever again. For now I will be using my other crockpots until I find a different slow cooker this size.

On High, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas on Low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. Once food reaches the simmer point, total cook time is dependent on cut and weight of meat to reach the point of maximum flavor and texture potential. Most dishes can be prepared on either High or Low. This is uniform across all of our current models.
