Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One poor design and a function that doesn’t work! First off, this slow cooker cooks way too hot and the handles get exceptionally hot! That needs to be fixed. Second, you users manual says when cooking is done, it switches to warm and counts up to four hours,. This feature does not work!

I love this pot and I cook in it all the time, we ate remolding and I don’t have a conventional kitchen set up so this pot makes my life so easy. Love it outstanding item

My two old crock pots that I had for 7 years one died and the other one is on it's last legs so will be ordering another one after the first of the year very happy camper

We owned a crock with a dial selector to turn it on and off and choose your cook setting. I would reserve using it for days I was already at home or days I knew I could count on being home at a specific time. If I ran late and had the crock pot on I was always worried about the food over cooking or worse... knowing that this pot will only cook for the allotted time before turning to warm and eventually off has allowed us to use the crock much more frequently! It's so simple to turn on and set the time and walk away without worry! I absolutely love this pot and the fact that we can come home to a great meal after work much more regularly!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this Model I purchased this last year and moved into a new home. I use this crock pot 7 days a week. Love love, love. This crockpot. With it being summer and not wanting to heat up the house using my Stoves oven. I use my crockpot. Never had a problem until this morning. I was putting a frozen pork shoulder in and it slipped out of my hand , dropped in the crock and cracked it. I'm lost quthout my crockpot. Have to order a reolacement crock or else will buy a totally different model.

I was so disappointed when another dish dropped into the crock and cracked it. I contacted Crock Pot about purchasing a replacement crock and was told that this model is discontinued. What the what? Here it is still on the site. Anywho, on the search for a new one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use. Love the timer. This crockpot is extremely easy to use. It looks great and does as advertised. Cooking is as simple as plugging it in and pushing a couple of buttons. I love the timer, with a glance you can see how much time is left. Clean up is a snap. I have yet to have anything that has stuck to the inside of this. I’ve used it at least 10 times in the month I’ve had it. The only real downside is the handles get hot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Buy A Better One It cooks food. That's all the good I can say about this unit. When I bought it, I thought I was buying a quality appliance from a well-known brand. The main problem is that the digital display went out. The unit still heats up, but you can't set the timer to know how long it's going. Of course the unit is just outside the pathetic 1-year warranty. I am good at fixing things, so I looked to see if I could buy a replacement part. Nope. Nobody sells the internal parts, and it took Crock-Pot a week to reply to my inquiry. The Black & Decker slow cookers have a 2-year warranty, so I'll probably go that route. Also, the handles on this unit are really small, and they get really hot. You will have to have a towel or something to protect your hands. I regret buying this unit. Our last one we had with just a dial timer lasted for years, until we upgraded to a larger unit. It's a shame you can't get products that last any more.

Customer service told me stop using and they would email me information on a refund. After two calls to customer service and nothing I returned it to Sam’s Club and received a refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use and sleek looking! Review I really enjoyed using this 7.0 qt crock pot! I loved the design as it is much more modern looking and gives a good impression if you take it out to your dinner table. It’s chrome finish makes it a lot easier to clean than stainless steel. As for the functionality, it is very user friendly and self explanatory. The one feature that is missing that I think is quite important is a locking lid. For some reason a locking lid ensures the steam doesn’t escape (although I didn’t notice this issue with current model) it is still a bonus feature. Lastly, the one thing I did notice is that the outer shell of this product (chrome part) does get very hot to the touch. Overall I had a great experience using this crock pot and it is definitely recommended for a busy household!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Third time is not a charm. I got my first Crockpot when I went to college, over 20 years ago, and it still works great. I outgrew it about 6 years ago and I got the 6 QT one. I was pleased with it. It can get a little too hot but it has worked fine. They clean up nicely and I can meal-prep like a beast with them. So as a brand, I have been very pleased with Crockpot. My niece got me this one for Christmas. The FIRST time I used it my immersion blender scratched some of the pot lining off. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this until clean up, so I may have consumed some of it. I've used my immersion blender for this exact recipe in my other two Crockpots and never had a problem. I also already gave my 6 QT one away because I didn't think I'd have an issue. Hopefully I didn't consume anything dangerous. I have to research my next slow cooker because I hate to have to remove everything to use my blender and put everything back into the pot to continue cooking. Defeats the point of a slow cooker in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! It is beautiful. Will leave it on countertop when not in use. I especially liked the chrome outside and handles. Looks very high end. Quality is what i expected from the CrockPot brand, only brand i have ever purchased. The front panel is easy to read and use. Was able to figure out use without using any directions. Very spacious ceramic cooking pot. Used it on low for a spiral ham and hi for chili...both came out perfect. Very easy to clean. Although interior is dishwasher safe, I prefer to hand wash.

I really wanted a new Crockpot but digital, I love the brand, the problem I find with this one is the lid doesn’t fit tight like my old one and the time goes faster than it should when cooking on low I can set it for 6 hours at noon and by 5 it’s on the warming setting not sure why it does this. I have cooked several meals since I got it and every time I use it it counts down faster than the time should

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Large Size and Timer Are Neat Features! I am an occasional Crock-Pot user. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I made two recipes on two different occasions. I made pulled pork and a week later I made macaroni and cheese. The pulled pork turned out moist and delicious, however, I was left with a white ring around the bottom of the Crock-Pot that I could not scrub off, even after soaking. When I made macaroni and cheese in it, it cooked 45 minutes faster than the recipe called for and even removing it sooner, I still had a hard, dark crust around the outside of the macaroni and cheese that I had to pick out. It was easy to operate, but cooked at a higher temperature than I expected when I set it to the low setting. I’m not sure that I would pay extra for a “programmable” setting, as I do not fully trust that it would cook at the appropriate temperature and I may end up with overdone food. I would prefer a standard Crock-Pot and just checking the progress of the cooking at intervals. As a side note, the side and handles did get very hot during operation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks beautiful but isn't the best I was really excited about this crock pot because I liked the idea of the digital controls and I loved the sleek look. After cooking with the crock pot I did find that although the food cooked properly I will probably go back to my old crock pot. I found that the handles, while well designed for grip, got very hot to the touch as the dish cooked. I found that digital controls, while modern looking, didn't provide the simple ease of the manual knob. I find that I don't need a timer on my crock pot so the digital display time wasn't much use to me, although I can see the merit in the idea. I did love the look of the crock pot. The shiny exterior was a nice touch and made me want to keep it out on the counter instead of in a cupboard. I noticed that the bowl of the crock pot tapered which I didn't care for. I felt like food would fit better if it didn't taper. I also worry about the longevity of the push button controls. I wonder if they would fail after a while or if they could be damaged by moisture from the crock pot. Overall not a bad crockpot. Love the look. The major issue for me was the hot handles.
