The time will not display while the warm setting counts down, that's perfectly normal. Some instruction booklets have a misprint that advises that the warm setting will have a visual display of the time counting down. That is false. We apologize for the confusion. Thank you for your question.

I'm sorry to hear that. The stoneware for this model is currently only available in white, and can be purchased below. The Cook and Carry&trade; stoneware of this size is technically compatible, but the design is quite different. However, if you would like a black stoneware, that may be the one to purchase.
