Care & Maintenance
- ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Dysfunctional product
I was gifted this item. The seven quart slow cooker. It does not heat up like my old original Hamilton one I had for almost 15 plus yeats until the feet came off. I am not happy with the way it heats I had to finish my pot roast in the oven. I called customer service and the person was rude and told me I needed the receipt which I don’t have and neither does my friend now. I gave in the code on the cord prong and he said it was manufactured in July 2020 and couldn’t do anything even though it was a gift. I even suggested sending it back and was denied and he hung up on me. Very rude service. I normally praise this brand however not anymore.

Loose Lid
I bought this Crockpot a week ago and when I unpacked it and put it together, the lid didn't fit tightly and it wobbled, so I took it back to the store and exchanged it for another one, only to find that the replacement had the same problem. I own two other Crockpots and both have a rubber gasket attached to the lid to ensure a good seal, but this model doesn't have it so the slight imperfections, either on the lid or the ceramic base, means the lid doesn't fit tightly. To improve the product, I recommend adding a rubber gasket. If a rubber gasket is available for this model, please let me know how I can get one.

I wish they were made like they used to be. We've had this crock pot for a little over a year and it has all these spider webbed cracks running through it. It's unusable and past the warranty so I can't do anything about that. I know my parents have had one for as long as I've been alive which is well over 20 years and have had no problems with their's.

Small Family and growing
Great machine. Easy to use and if you want Crockpot sells a package of liners so you don't heavily soil the pot for easy clean up. We have had this pot for5-6.5 yrs. and my family has had crockpots since I can remember, mid 80'S?? This is probably the best size to start with in dorm rooms and grow to a 5-6 person family.

All I need is a new lid
Just bought this black Crockpot at Walmart to replace my old one , #37551 (white) because the lid handle got dangerously loose. The old pot still works fine but was i was afraid i might drop the lid. The pot liner is still fine with no cracks, etc. I've
decieved to keep the old one as backup. I've read that some people have had trouble. I wish I had known you could buy a replacement part before hand...
Any way, the one thing I have a concern about is that the ceramic pot fits -loosely- in the liner itself, while the old one doesn't and fits more snug...is this suppose to be this way?? I also noticed four slots made into the ceramic liner...is this for steam to release?
I've always been happy with all my past Crockett and am hoping this one will give me years of service too... but then again I have my old "back up" pot waiting in the wings to step in. ;-)

Disappointed
I bought this crockpot 5 months ago. From the beginning, the lid made ticking sounds when cooking and when I wash it. Last week I was using my crockpot and heard a loud pop. The lid had shattered. Unfortunately, I can't locate my receipt to put in a request for replacement.

Great cooker!
Bought this unit about 5 weeks ago and have used it to make quite a few delicious meals. Clean up is very easy especially when using a liner. Have made pork chops, chicken breast, hams, and even a small turkey breast. Thank you for such a wonderful product.

I would give zero stars if possible
Just bought this from kohl’s. It has 3 small pegs in a small triangular shape on bottom for legs. Which makes it want to tip over to either side towards the back. How can you make hot food in something that doesn’t balance empty?

It does not I have used this Crock-pot for awhile and my birds are still very much healthy but if you have any other worries I found this on the crock-pot website telling what materials are used for the liner as well as declaring it as PTFE and PFOA free &quot;The glaze of our ceramic pots is a silicate made of quartz, feldspar and clay. The glaze is covered over the pot, fired at high temperature to melt the glaze and then cooled down. The glaze liquid is then turned into coating the same as glass film on the surface of the pot. This does not contain PTFE

Hello! Our units will take no more that 300 watts. When it comes to the temperature, units stabilize at 209F, on LOW in 6-7 hours, on HIGH - in 3-4 hours. Depending on the recipe being used, the high setting is recommended for use for 3-4 hours while the low setting recommended use is 6-8 hours. After the cooking cycle you can switch the unit to the keep warm function which is recommended for use for up to 4 hours. The unit does not switch off automatically, you have to switch it off manually after cooking.
