Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.
Warranty
1 Year Limited Warranty. See Instruction Manual for Additional Details.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought this on Amazon in November, used maybe 5 times and it doesn’t work anymore, warms up but it doesn’t cook, wasted food; disappointed and would not recommend, they’re no longer on Amazon so I assumed they’re removed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I love this crock-pot. I've used it several times since receiving. It is easy to clean and not too heavy for my arthritic hands. It cooks evenly and everything turns out with that "cooked all day" taste that I love.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. Nothing really more to say than I love it. It's the easiest thing to work and cook in. You put your dinner inside it set it to temperature and forget about it. Everything I've made in it has turned out amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooking made easy I am a teacher and a coach and depending on the time of year I am putting in 10-12 hour days. This crockpot is so easy to use and will help make quick and easy dinners on those days that I am too busy to cook.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need to fix design I want to love it, but instead I'll say that I like it. This rating is particularly due to a design flaw that, if fixed, will propel it up to really like and maybe even love. The curve of the rim of the black ceramic pot allows drips that fall onto it to travel from top of the rim to bottom and then in between the black pot and the heating unit. From there they run down the inside of the heating unit until they reach its bottom where they blacken from the heat and cause more cleanup. Simply using a ladle for soup while the black pot is still in the heating unit results in this if any drops touch the rim of the black pot. Whoosh, they go right around the rim and in between the hot heating unit and the black pot and start to sizzle and burn. Looking at the two vessels together one would think the black pot's rim would prevent this due to a slight overhang, but it doesn't. I'm really careful, and it still happens. The inside of the heating unit is not as easy to clean as the black pot, and I'm quite tired of cleaning it. The inside of the heating unit stains easily too.

That is why milking stools have only 3 legs, because a 3 legged stool can sit firmly on a floor that is not level like those found in barns. A 4 legged stool will wobble on a floor that is not level. So, while somewhat prone to tipping with force or on extreme angles, 3 legs do not wobble and are thus more stable on most surfaces. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: Conjured</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2023-04-25</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="706940"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> I have this crock pot and I am wondering what the low temperature setting is in degrees and the high temperature? </h2> <div class="bvseo-question-detail"> </div> <div class="bvseo-author">Asked by: SueF</div> <div class="bvseo-answer" data-answerid="791062"> Thank you for your inquiry. Both the low and high settings will reach a maximum temperature of approximately 215&amp;deg; Fahrenheit, but they cycle differently in that the low setting cycles off of that temperature more frequently. Therefore, the high setting will still cook the food in a shorter period of time than the low setting will. On the warm setting, your Crock-Pot&amp;reg; slow cooker will be between 165&amp;deg; and 175&amp;deg; Fahrenheit. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. The Crock-Pot&amp;reg; slow cooker can also boil on high and low. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker at least 2/3 to 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. You may have to adjust your cook times accordingly, especially if you are using older Crock-Pot&amp;reg; slow cooker recipes, or adapting regular recipes for Crock-Pot&amp;reg; slow cooker use. This will prevent the food from drying out and burning. <div class="bvseo-author">Answered by: CrockpotSupport</div> <div class="bvseo-pubdate">Date published: 2017-02-03</div> </div> </div> <div class="bvseo-question-answer" data-questionid="704020"> <h2 class="bvseo-question"> I believe this is the same size I have- mine is the SCV700-b2.
