Care & Maintenance
- ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Great size crock pot!
This crockpot came at the perfect time! Right before Christmas & I was able to make a large batch of macaroni & cheese for Christmas dinner. This crockpot has plenty of room to cook a large portion of what you want. It is also very easy to use. I will be using it all winter!

It blew up or something!
I plugged it in so I could make my family dinner and it sparked and blew out the entire plug area, I had to go downstairs to the breaker box and flip the switch back over. It left a smokish looking stain on the bottom and on my counter. The cord area is ruined and damaged.

Loved crockpot brand but...
I have had several crockpot brand slow cookers so I was excited to have received a 7qt cooker as a mouse warning gift. I have a 4 qt and 6qt but wanted something bigger for a family of 6!!! I finally decided to use it after a year and the stoneware cracked after one use.

Makes dinner a breeze!
We got our crockpot a day or two before Christmas, but I wasn’t able to review until now. I used it to make charro beans for Christmas Day. It was a great size and easy to use. It held a large amount of beans. It made enough to feed three households!! I love this thing.

Good size but HOT !!
This crock pot works great and I love the large size for big meals. The reason I gave it a 3 instead of 5 is because it gets SOOO hot to the touch. It you accidentally brush your hand against it when it's on it will burn your skin. Don't use where children can touch it.

Just got this for Christmas; bought it at Costco. I'm sooooo disappointed. Observing the cooking process, it's evident that the machine's setting is approximately 350-360 degrees and keeps food at a constant boiling point. Ruined my roast and pulverized the veggies.

Perfect crockpot!
I love this crockpot and have been using it nonstop since receiving it. I feel it is the perfect size for most dishes for my household. It cooks food perfectly and I enjoy that it has low high and warm settings. Also it looks aesthetically pleasing on my counter top.

I love her!

I've had the 7 quart crock pot for a year and I'm happy with it, however, the printed control labels wiped off even with careful cleaning. Now you can't tell if the knob is pointing to "high" or "warm " without trying to remember how the selections were lined up.

It had been many years since I have cooked with a crockpot so I was very excited when this arrived. The removable crock is great for easy cleanup. Low and high temps worked great.

Can’t live with my Crock Pot
I have used “crock pot” my entire adult life and have purchased 3 total. My crock pots have lasted at least 10 years each and none have ever broken. I simply have given my old crockpots away and purchase a new one when I change appliances in my kitchen.

Do not buy this product
I received this item as a gift for our wedding. This is only the second time that I used it and the entire porcelain basin completely exploded. The whole bottom came out of it. It was on low for only about 2 hours when it exploded. Thank god I was home.

Easy and convenient!
Love crock-pot cooker! I was able to make hot chocolate for Christmas dinner. I also made Tri tip steak over low cook. The food came out delicious and it was ready when I got home from work. It is worth the price! Very convenient and easy to use!

Need A Replacement Insert!
I have this same model the 7qt Crockpot and I loved it. But somehow the insert cracked/broke in half. Now I'm not 100 percent sure what had happened the kids say they don't know. But I'm just wanting an insert because it's not even a year old.

It’s good for price
This was very simple to use. The only thing I am not too fond of is that there isn’t a light or anything indicating it’s on or if it’s hot. If you’re needing something simple, not super expensive and works well, this is definitely one to buy.

It’s a crockpot
It’s the classic crockpot. Nothing more. Nothing less. It works as advertised. I just wish they came with a longer power cord. Having to find somewhere to fit this 6 inches of cable is ridiculous when you have a counter full of appliances.

I Found Mine
When I moved to a new place, I found a 7 qt Crock Pot in the metal shed out behind the house. Someone had apparently abandoned it years ago and it was dirty. I cleaned it up and used it the other day, no problems with it at all.

Everyone needs a crockpot. Its great for busy work days or when you just dont feel like cooking. It has a high and low setting and even has a warm setting so the food isnt just sitting there cooking while keeping the food hot.

Outside is way to hot,
The outside of this crockpot gets so hot to touch it could be dangerous. I liked to use my old one in the summer to keep the kitchen cool, you may as well cook on the stove from the heat this one produces. Sorry I bought it.

Doesn’t work right
I bought this 13 months ago from Amazon. Maybe that was part of the problem. The temperature control has never been reliable. It could be on, could be off, could be on hot or warm. The dial seems to have no bearing on this.

For this model and all of our newer model slow cookers, both the low and high settings will reach a maximum temperature of approximately 215&deg; Fahrenheit, but they cycle differently in that the low setting cycles off of that temperature more frequently. Therefore, the high setting will still cook the food in a shorter period of time than the low setting will. On the warm setting, your Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker will be between 165&deg; and 175&deg; Fahrenheit. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. The Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker can also boil on high and low. We recommend that you always fill your slow cooker at least 2/3 to 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. You may have to adjust your cook times accordingly, especially if you are using older Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker recipes, or adapting regular recipes for Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker use. This lid fit is correct. Most newer model Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker have a lid gap to prevent too much pressure from building up. Newer models cook at a slightly higher temperature and you do not want an airtight seal. Thank you for your question.

Thank you for your inquiry. Both the low and high settings will reach a maximum temperature of approximately 215&deg; Fahrenheit, but they cycle differently in that the low setting cycles off of that temperature more frequently. Therefore, the high setting will still cook the food in a shorter period of time than the low setting will. On the warm setting, your Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker will be between 165&deg; and 175&deg; Fahrenheit. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. The Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker can also boil on high and low. We do recommend that you always fill your slow cooker at least 2/3 to 3/4 of the way full, including at least one cup of liquid or sauce. You may have to adjust your cook times accordingly, especially if you are using older Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker recipes, or adapting regular recipes for Crock-Pot&reg; slow cooker use. This will prevent the food from drying out and burning.

Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the stoneware is oven safe up to 400&deg; F. Please when you are using the stoneware in the oven, do not pre-heat the oven. Place the stoneware and food in a cold oven and then turn the oven on.

The stoneware is shaped differently and the locking lids are not compatible.
