Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.
Warranty
1 Year Limited Warranty. See Instruction Manual for Additional Details.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does Not Measure Up to Older Models Bought this a couple of months ago and it has inexplicably died. Worked really well for awhile (though the stoneware chipped easily and outside is very cheap and has dented). Left it on high to cook and came back a few hours later to find that it had stopped working. Tried fiddling with the temperature dial but appears to be completely dead and now need a new slow cooker. Older Crockpot models worked great and were durable, but this model not so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 7 Quart Classic Removeable Stoneware Crockpot I have the Classic Removeable Stoneware 7 Quart Crockpot Model #SCV700-55. I broke the stoneware & need a replacement. What do I do?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Settings are Hot, Hotter, and Surface of the Sun I have cooked regularly with crock pots each fall and winter since college, and have a vintage 4 quart that has been my staple for years. However, the smaller pot does not usually make enough to have much of any leftovers in our house, nor enough to share dinner with friends. I received this model for Christmas and enjoyed using it for the season last year... that is until it overheated and melted the formica countertop in my kitchen. We discovered early on that we could not leave it on while away from the house or overnight, which defeated the purpose for many of my recipes. Also, on several occasions just touching the exterior of the pot resulted in unfriendly burns. I wish the temperature control was designed better, but as it stands, I will have to replace this with something else as I am afraid to use this pot and create a fire hazard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crock-Pot SCVI600B-SS 6-Quart Premium VersaWare Slow Cooker, Gold I own the VersaWare Crock Pot and love it!!! It is such a lifesaver during busy weeknights when I have to take my daughter to after school activities. We always have an incredible meal waiting for us at home. The best part is being able to set the crock-pot for the amount of time I want to cook and knowing that it will click to warm mode at the end of that time period. Never have to worry about heating things up or coming home to a cold meal!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super Convenient, tried and true I have used this version for many years and think its a grest addition to any kitchen. For this test I made crock pot hot cocoa and it was everything i expected it to be. My only complaint with crock pot is the cord length, i would love one a few inches longer. This one does not have an auto shut off which i do like on the other ine i own, but i would definitely buy this one still, my old one was red until i accidentallymelted the knob, oops.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Enough for whole family We just love this crockpot. We had a 4 quart one for years and it was fine, but needed a bigger one for our growing family of teens. Found this one and it is perfect to feed all the teens and is a great size for a party. We cook hotdogs, chili, pork roasts, and soups. We love the warm setting for parties to keep the food warm for the whole time. Also it is great for when the teens get home later from sports. Then the food can still be hot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy meals for a busy life My crock pot allows me to fix dinner in the morning so when I come home in the evening, dinner is ready. It's so quick and delicious. I care for my dad so I know there are nutritious meals using his food likes. Soups, chili, pork, chicken and beef there's no end to what my crockpot can do. My 6 quart crock pot makes meats and vegetable tender and I can have a gravy if I want. It's a great way to have a good meal when life is busy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Customer support is non existant I submitted a one star review at the beginning of October 2024 and then contacted (via email because there is not a phone number listed, customer support. The following date I received a conformation and reference number. The e-mail stated that someone would contact me "as quickly as possible". Thirteen days later I have yet to hear from them. It's comforting to know that their customer support is as good as their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So happy I was so happy to claim this crockpot, I needed one and had been looking around for awhile. So when this came up I jumped on it. I do wish I would of claimed the digital one but this one is so big and I love that it's stainless steel. Cleanup is so easy and it looks so sleek and nice. Love all the settings not only do you get high and low but also warm. So great #crockpot #claimnow #claim #free #cookingcare #cooking #cook

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cooks too hot/too fast I had one of the original crock-pots from 40+ years ago. It was marketed for all-day cooking. You could leave it for 8 hours while at work and it "slow cooked". I'm so sorry I let it go - I finally got a newer/larger one. It cooks way too fast! Things that used to cook for 6-8 hours are overdone. This is not the way the slow cooker is supposed to work. Can I cook on warm to achieve the results I want?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great crock-pot.....mostly I bought this crock pot a couple years ago and love it. However, I noticed a crack a few months ago and every time I use it the crack gets bigger! I used it last night and noticed that it now leaks through. I’m super bummed because it really is a great crock-pot and the size is perfect for a full family meal. I’m just wondering if the heat initially caused the crack or what because I’m super gentle with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and clean — one pot wonder! This crock-pot is super easy to use and even easier to clean. I was able to cook a meal for 4-5 individuals + leftovers. I do recommend using already boiling broth due to the slow cook nature of a crockpot (which helped speed things a long by at least 45-60 mins of the overall cooking process). Once things are boiling, the crockpot can keep simmering your food for the soft buttery meat we’re all aiming for!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great for beginners! I love anything to make my life easier in the kitchen. So I generally make at least one crockpot meal per week. That beginning said this is great for a beginner. Since this is manual, you can’t “set it and forget it”which I what I normally do. But it’s clean looking, doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter and does its job. I will def use this for dips and things I don’t need away from the kitchen!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Crockpot! I received this product free for review from Influencer. This crockpot is 7 quarts and is huge family size. It has low temp, high temp, and warm. The 3 levels of cooking are all that's needed to make great meals. The crock pot cooked evenly, clean up was easy and basically non stick surface. All my recipes cooked great and within the time frame suggested and temp recommendations. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Slow cooker!!!! The crock pot brand manual 7 quart slow cooker in muscle Gray is amazing. It Cooks everything perfectly with just the twist of a dial. Put all your ingredients in, put the lid on, turn to high or low and let it just cook for hours. Once you're done cooking, switch it over to warm to keep it ready for when you're ready to serve. I highly recommend it. Nothing too fancy.. and it works perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic, easy to use, well made crockpot I enjoy using the classic Crock-pot. The stainless steel outside makes it easy to clean and the removable insert is a must for cleaning up after cooking. The outside gets a little hot when it is on the high setting. The warm feature is so helpful when it comes to your family eating at different times. This is the easiest to use of all crockpots with no frills but it gets the job done well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great crockpot I like this crockpot. It is a basic model with easy settings. It worked perfect for stews, chili and cooking a roast. It is a great size to feed my family of four and have left overs. It cooks evenly and thoroughly. Then we keep the setting on warm until needed. I love that you can take the inside stoneware out for easily cleaning and travel if you don't need to heat it at the destination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek design, great heating capabilities I made our Sunday Sauce in this crockpot and was very pleased with its size and heating capabilities. This crockpot, however, would not travel well because the lid does not secure and the base has 3 points to stand on, compared to a 4 point base. It could be a little wobbly if you would travel with it. Besides that, it’s an excellent crockpot with a matte finish, sleek design. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's a major component of my cooking, I use it a lot. My slow cooker is easy to use and gives me good results. It does warm the house up so I don't use it as much in the summer. It saves me on fuel costs when cooking beans, roasts, soups & stews because it only uses a few cents in electricity & helps with heating costs for winter. It takes a little bit of time to learn how to get the best results, but once you do, the sky's the limit.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Low is not Low. It will boil, ruin you meal. Another faulty unit. The bowl wobbles around in the heating unit, and "low" has my soup boiling! The boilg point of water is 212 and tomato sauce is ~208 (F). So, the LOW setting is defective. On another Crock Pot unit I bought, the documentation explains that it quickly raises the temp to 210 (I think... maybe off a couple degrees) and then simmers it for hours. THAT IS NOT LOW.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cooks evenly, great warming feature This crock pot has a clean, sleek design. Low, high, and warming features for a variety of cooking. I love that when the food is finished a little too early, I can keep it warm. Also, the warming feature is great for parties when you need to keep the food out and warm for a while. I use my crockpot for easy week night meals. I like that I can set it and forget it until dinner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unsafe and Dangerous Crock Pot I recently purchased this crock pot, hoping it would be a reliable addition to my kitchen. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be a major safety hazard. Even on the low setting, the exterior of the unit gets burning hot to the touch. I accidentally brushed against it while cooking, and it nearly caused a burn—it’s that bad! A slow cooker should be safe to use, especially around kids or pets, but this one is anything but. I also noticed that it heats unevenly, making it impossible to cook anything properly without constant monitoring. The whole point of a crock pot is convenience and safety, and this product fails miserably on both fronts. If you’re looking for a slow cooker, do not purchase this one unless you want to risk burns or a potential fire hazard. I’m extremely disappointed and will be returning it immediately. Spend your money on a better, safer option.—— company will not accept returns or refund

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What my kitchen was waiting for!!!! So happy with my new 7 quart crockpot! It’s the perfect size for my family. I can't believe I went all these years without a Crock-Pot. I love that I can prepare a large meal with all the veggies included, prepare a large stew or roast or even 2 packages of chicken for a meal. The quality of this slow cooker is exceptional, and it has truly been a game-changer in the kitchen.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Ouch Replaced my 20 year old crockpot with the bigger more modern looking one and I have already learned that it wasn't a great idea. In checking on my dish I touched the side of the crockpot and was burned! The exterior should not get so hot as to cause injury. I am shocked that there is no insulation. My old crockpot got warm but didn't sizzle when water touched it. Dangerous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Over heating? My wife has had our 7 quart Crock Pot for quite awhile now. She and her Mom have had others but she feels this is the best one she's ever owned. It's always worked really well in the past. She asked me the other night to turn it down to warm overnight. (She was cooking meatballs and sauce which she's cooked in this pot several times.) When I went to turn it down I noticed the control knob was extremely hot and visibly melted in places. I had to move it to another spot on the counter top and found the counter underneath it was scalding hot too. The counter was to hot to touch. I moved it onto a baking sheet and left it for awhile before I turned it off. She says she doesn't remember it ever getting that hot in the past. I'm wondering if it's common over time for it to get that hot although with the knob on it actually melting I'd assume not. Looking for some guidance before we buy a new one. Thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flavors the food to perfection as it slow cooks to release the aromas. I got this on my birthday, what other way can I thank Influenster! The capacity is large as I got the 7Qts and I cooked chickpeas into a nice creamy Indian gravy. The cleaning was easy as a breeze as it was all in one dish. I did have to cook for a few hours to get the flavors coming into the food. I put all the ingredients in and cooked while i was doing other things.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Frustrating I got this as a gift and I can’t figure out how to make it work. When I set the stoneware into the outer aluminum pan, the unit is not well seated. It isn’t really sealed and it wiggles when you touch it. As a result, it doesn’t really get hot enough. After I cooked chili for 90 minutes, I had to transfer it to a pan on my stove. Anyone else have this experience?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It’s classic, sturdy, and easy to use, with lots of room for big batches — Reliable slow cooker This Crock-Pot may be the large-capacity slow cooker of our dreams, and it makes an excellent gift for people who entertain or have big families (or both). I’ll just say it — this 7-quart slow cooker is, well, large - would be suitable for feeding 6 people, meal prepping for a family, or cooking up a batch of chili for Sunday’s game (or to store for later). The good news is that its handles make it easy to carry, and its short cord eases storage and transportation. Plus, with its classic Crock-Pot design and durability, this slow cooker will likely last you a long time. I found that every dish I prepared in it came up to temp easily, with no hot spots or burning, and it maintained that heat when the food was finished cooking, thanks to the warming function. And I loved that the control panel is user-friendly and simplistic, with a few basic functions that make even the most daunting batch cooking experience no sweat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crock Pot Manual 7-quart slow cooker I received the Crock pot for free for my honest review. The 7qt is a big crock pot. I love it because I have a family of 5 . So having this makes meals a lot easier. I made a roast and veggies and it was so easy and had lots of room. I highly recommend if you need to make a big meal . It’s sturdy. Really easy to clean after cooking. The style is great .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use I love the size of the crock pot it holds a lot of food it's very easy to prepare meal's I like that it has a low setting and a high setting I think personally it could be a little higher I was worried about my food not being hot enough to be safely eaten even at a high setting it takes a very very long time sometimes even past the recommended cooking time.
