Care & Maintenance
- ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Cooks way too fast!
We’ve had ours for a little over a year now and I wish I had thought about it sooner, maybe I could’ve claimed warranty with it. It’s cooking everything extremely too fast. A 4lb beef roast on low is done in less than 4 hours. A lamb roast is done in 3 or less. The meat is therefore not cooked the best and is tougher. I guess it’s time to look for a different one.

7 qt manual slow cooker cracked stoneware
I only gave this a two - but wanted to give it a five...
I love using a slow cooker, particularly for soups, pulled pork and corned beef. I decided to try the 7 quart size for those and was really happy with it until the black stoneware cracked. My smaller crock pot has lasted 30 years, so I was disappointed to lose my newest one.

Electrical problem
System worked great. Loved it (Have another and like it to. Problem is the electrical cord strain relief makes for a 90 degree bend. Last night I got a spark- the insulation had brokemn and the wires shorted.
My Hamilton Beach unit has a strain relief that turns the cord 90 degrees inside so there isn't that flexing of the cord.

I love this crockpot
I got this crockpot for Christmas. It is model number 700. It does a great job for my large family. The first thing i cook in it was barbque spare ribs and they turned out great. I had it on low for about 9 hours. Im glad that it stayed hot to cause I knew that it was cooked all the way. Im so glad that I got this for Christmas.

Doesn't work :-(
I bought this a couple of months ago and the first time I used it I tried cooking stew and it didn't even begin to cook the food after being in it for over 5 hours on high. The second time I used it was to just melt chocolate chips for a Christmas candy recipe and it wouldn't even melt the chocolate. Super disappointed!!!

The lid melted!
I’ve had a round crock pot for 25 years and wanted an oval one. I put a frozen pot roast in it at 350 degrees and put in the oven to speed up the cooking process and the lid melted! I can’t find a replacement lid anywhere!

What happened?
I bought this and I loved it. One day my husband made a absolutely delicious pork roast with vegetables and then all of a sudden the glass lid shattered. I don't know what happened. Was it left on too long? Our meal was ruined! It seems there's not an option to buy a replacement lid for this 7 quart crockpot.

Love the Style and Performance
This slow cooker has been great so far. It cooks evenly and the heat stays steady the whole time. The design is simple and the color looks really nice sitting out on the counter. I like the size because it works for bigger meals without taking over the whole space. Cleanup has been easy too. It’s one of those appliances I end up using a lot because it is easy and there are so many meals I can make in it. Who doesn’t love coming home from work to a home cooked meal with no prep and easy cleanup? It is a no-brainer.

I love my crock pot slow cooker!!!
Life is so much easier with my slow cooker!!!! I live with chronic pain, so standing and spending a lot of time in the kitchen is hard for me.... but with my slow cooker, I just prep, and start my food, and don't have to spend a lot of time in the kitchen! Wouldn't trade mine for a million dollars!!!

disappointed crock pot user for many years
I purchased this crock pot at a store out-0f-town shortly before Christmas. I used it several times. The first time it worked great. The second time, it cooked several hours and then liquid started dripping from the top down the sides. I thought maybe I had not positioned the lid securely enough, so I put the food in a skillet and cooked it until it was done.
The next time, I made sure the lid was quite secure, and I watched it for quite a while. All want well until the last couple of hours and the same thing happened again.
I have determined something is faulty, as I have used Rival crock pots since they first came out and had no problems.
I have a friend who was with me when I purchased the crock pot and can verify that I have used it very little with problems.
I do not have my receipt, but would appreciate a credit toward another crock pot.

Easy to use
I bought this 7qt that came with a mini crockpot on sale at Smith's/Kroger for $29.99. We've used it a few times in the past 2 years. This is the first time using it on my own for St Patrick's Day. It made the best corned beef and cabbage I've had in several years. Last year I went out for corned beef and it made this meal fantastic. I did cook it on high and it was great. I have absolutely no complaints. I only wished I used a liner for easy cleaning, but that was on me. I highly recommend this Crockpot!

Cooks too hot
My husband bought me this crock pot for Christmas. The first time we used it, we smelled a burning smell. I was hoping it was just because it was new. While the smell has diminished, this slow cooker cooks way too hot. After approx 5 hours on low and 1 hour on warm, then turned off for another hour - the internal temperature of the meat was 198 degrees. The food was scorched. This has happened on multiple occasions. Very disappointed. I had my last crock pot for 25 years and never had this problem.

Some precautions cooks well
I received this from crockpot and influenster in exchange for an honest review. This is oval shaped and fits alot of food. The dials are simple and not too complex to use. The exterior shell gets very hot so use pot holders when checking on food not to brush any exposed skin. The cord is very short so make sure it is close to the outlet but not near anything else that could melt on the high setting. The crockpot cooks well and easy to use with just a few precautions to take as in any pluggable appliance.

Can't live without it!
I can't imagine life without my Crock Pot! Comfort food in the winter, no heating of the kitchen in the summer, and since I'm a morning person, I love being able to prep the meal in the morning and not have to do any work at night! And it makes the house smell good :-)

Just the size I needed.
Already have a 4 qt. which I use for most ordinary meals, and needed a larger one for soups, cooking turkey carcasses and ham bones, etc.
This 7 qt. is just right for those larger recipes that simply will not fit in the 4 qt.

Have loved this slow cooker until lid cracked
I've had this crock for about a year. Use it about every other week. It's been great. That is until I'm making stuffed chicken thighs like I've made 2 other times. I go to life the lid and it shatters. Ruined the meal and now I'm crockless.

Love this product!
I use my crockpot several times a week because it’s such a convenient way to have healthy meals done when you get home from a long day at work or school. I love a good Crock Pot!! This makes life so much easier! This beautiful stainless steel look gives a more expensive vibe! It’s 7qt and perfect for a large family or getting ready for a gathering. Would be a wonderful way to make a dip for parties and keep it warm while looking nice! It has low, medium, high cooking temps and a warm setting too! I love using this for soups on cold days also! Start a meal in the morning and come home from work in the evening and BAM dinner is done! Love this!

Really like this Crock Pot!
This is the first Crockpot that I've used in years. Haven't had much need to use one until recently. This thing is great! Do I expect it to cook like 20 year old versions? No. Read about it. It does cook hot, but that is a good thing. If you follow the instructions and suggestions, this thing can be the perfect Crockpot. I'd venture a guess that those who think it cooks too hot never bothered to read anything and just started using it like the 20 year old appliance it replaced.

Another cracked crock
This is my third Crock Pot, and I’ve had it the shortest amount of time. I took the crock out to give it a quick clean before using it tomorrow to make dinner and was extremely disappointed to find a crack in it. I have only had it about a year and a half and expect better. I take very good care of my crock pots. I do not subject them to extreme temp changes and always use non scratching utensils. It’s just the basic model, but I still expect better craftsmanship from this company.

Cute and does the job
This crockpot worked great and I absolutely loved the color. We’ve cooked several meals so far in it and each one has turned out great. The assembly was super easy and we could use it just as soon as we cleaned it. My only reasons for not giving it 5 stars were that it wasn’t very sturdy like other crockpots I’ve had. It also did not have a timer on it and that is a feature I value. Otherwise, it’s a great crockpot! I received this product for free to try.
