Care & Maintenance
- ALWAYS turn your unit off, unPower Cord it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot. To clean the Temperature Probe, use a damp cloth and warm, soapy water. Make sure to dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the Temperature Probe in water.

So Well Made!
What an amazing addition to our kitchen! Typically, I would put a slow cooker in the cabinets, but this one stays out all of the time because of how great it looks. I am so impressed with the craftmanship as well. The ceramic is incredibly sturdy and is heavy, providing an example of just how durable and solid this Slow Cooker Sous Vide is. This will last for a long time. All of the components are of the utmost highest quality.
The directions provided were clear and setting up the device was a breeze, which I appreciated as a first time user of sous vide. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to use. However, one thing to note is that is takes a bit of time to warm-up (the directions say it can take up to an hour), so make sure to plan accordingly. But the results are worth the wait! The chicken I made was cooked to absolute perfection. Cooking in the bag made the chicken lock in the juices and seasoning. It was so tender and juicy. The Slow Cooker Sous Vide comes with four sous vide sealable bags, but I wish it came with more or had information in the directions about how to purchase more directly from the company. It would have been a helpful addition to the package. This appliance is so versatile. When using as a slow cooker, it performs fabulously. The pot roast came out amazingly. It is also so large that I am able to cook enough for our family of five! The timer is loud and clear, making it easy to know when your meal is ready. Plus, the warming feature is incredibly useful for keeping food warm if it won't be served immediately.
I loved that this appliance is completely digital. Also, during the preheating of the sous vide, it alternates between the current temperature and the desired temperature, which helps in getting your meal ready.
As a person that does not like to cook very much, this has been a lifesaver for me. It has made meal planning a breeze by doing most of the hard work for me. I highly recommend this!

Great slow cooker with sous vide!
The Crockpot slow cooker with sous vide is outstanding! Whether you use it as a slow cooker or use the sous vide feature, results are fantastic. The cooker is very well made. Love the durable, easy to clean enamel coating on the crock. Nothing sticks to it and cleanup is easy. I've made everything from homemade mac 'n cheese to chili and our family favorite PA Dutch chicken pot pie! Everything turned out great! I really like the all-digital control panel. It's very easy to use and read. It has everything you need, a timer, keep warm and delay start function. Programming the digital settings is a breeze! Great for preparing meals ahead of time or having things ready when you get home from work! I also like the soft rubberized silicone (food grade) gasket around the glass lid. It seals very well. Also appreciate the side clamps for the lid to lock in place. Makes it great for taking your favorite foods to family gatherings, etc. without having to worry about it spilling. The seal also locks in moisture when preparing foods. The Sous Vide cooking function is great! Meats from roast, chicken, pork and steaks came out tender and juicy and cooked through the way I like. You can adjust the doneness of the sous vide function. I prefer meats more on the well-done side. You can use the sous vide function for more than just meats. The sous vide function is very easy to use as well! The included cooking bags are convenient and make clean-up a breeze! The sous vide probe has a long cable and good connector. I really like the 7-quart size, it's great if cooking for a family. It has lots of room to prepare everything in the crockpot without spilling over! The Stainless-Steel exterior is outstanding! Not only is it very durable and well made, but it also looks great too! The Stainless-Steel finish will go with any look you have in your kitchen. The Crockpot Slow Cooker with Sous Vide Stainless-Steel, 7-quart is a modern twist on an old family favorite for cooking up your favorite meals! And it as a good look and quality feel! I highly recommend this crockpot! You will love it!

Love this cooker! Very easy to use.
I was given this to review by TryIt Sampling. What I received was a Crockpot brand slow cooker with Sous Vide. This crockpot is a 7 quart oval shape, that feeds nine or more people. It is a very attractive kitchen appliance, stainless steel and light gray. This will fit in any kitchen quite nicely. It comes with some plastic bags for the sous vide feature but you can go to the store and buy the freezer bags with the double zip feature to use as well.
I have never used Sous vide before but I have seen it on various cooking shows and I have been very curious about it for a very long time now. So when I got the chance to receive this to review, I was very excited.
This is an amazing piece of cookware for your kitchen. This crockpot doubles as a crockpot as well as a Sous Vide cooker. It comes with some recipes in a booklet, but you can always use your own as well. I have used this for several different recipes. Mostly sous vide as that is what interests me the most. I have made ribeye steaks, chicken breasts, boneless pork chops. I have also use it for different vegetables as well. I absolutely love how my dinners turn out in this crockpot. They are tender and juicy and just overall fantastic. The family loves these meals and eats them up with no hesitation, including one very picky eater. You do have to sear your meat in a frying pan once it is done cooking in the sous vide as you need to get that brown color but the juices are still locked in and the meat is ever so tender and juicy and flavorful.
I have also used the crockpot feature because I do love cooking in a crockpot. I can throw my meal in in the morning, turn it on and when I’m done work I come home and the house smells wonderful with a ready to eat meal.
I am getting the best of both worlds with this appliance. I get to use it as a crockpot and I also use it as sous vide cooker. Which makes me feel like a professional chef when I tell people that the meal was made sous vide. Everybody is very impressed with that and even more so when they eat the delicious meal that was prepared sous vide.
And with the holidays coming up this will make an excellent gift for anybody from a brand new, just starting out cook right up to someone who’s been cooking for years. This also would make a great wedding gift as well. This is the one gift that the new bride definitely will use.
