Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke within a month of purchase I purchased this crockpot less than a month ago. I used it only once before it failed to heat up. On my second attempt to use it (this morning), the pot would not heat up. I tried multiple settings, low and high, and even tried using different outlets in my home to no avail - it wouldn't warm up at all. I have a manual crockpot which I've used for more than 15 years. I upgraded because I needed bigger capacity. However, I'm learning that the digital/programmable crockpots are not built to last. In fact, I purchased this model recently to replace another digital/programmable crockpot that did not last beyond 7 months either due to the same issue - it no longer heats up. I love using the crockpot to make my family dinner, but I am beyond frustrated to keep spending money on products that do not last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great Bought this for a Christmas gift for my mom. It is almost exactly the same as her previous one, it was just time for a new one. I like the timer and locking lid especially. I don’t remember the first dish made in it, but there were potatoes and we had them cooking for 7 hours on low and they still were not done. We know next time to cook them on high or longer.

The base of the crockpot has cracked (still usable) and just recently stopped working in the middle of cooking a meal on "low". It won't turn on at all now. Crockpots should last longer than 2 years. I contacted this company and they said there's only a year long warranty so there's nothing they can do.

As a busy single Dad, this is now providing 4 of 7 dinners each week simply because I can load up the stoneware the night before. In the morning I just pull the loaded stoneware out of the refrigerator and drop it in the pot, set it and when I come home dinner is ready.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do Not Recommend I got this for Christmas two years ago and it has already stopped working. The digital screen stopped turning on and I cannot even use it. Meanwhile, the Crock Pot my grandmother had for a few decades is what I have to resoet to and it works wonderfully.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor stoneware quality, no replacements I bought this and used it for about a year, and while I always carefully hand washed and dried the insert, I noticed it had cracked after I cooked a stew in it for approx 6 hours on high. Crock pot still sells this model but not the replacement insert; if you purchase it at the recommended third party site, after shipping the cost is more than half the price you paid new. Essentially, it's forcing you to pay extra to keep the one you have, or dispose of it and buy an entirely new one.
