Insert cracked with pot roast, juices everywhere
I have had this unit for a couple of years replacing one I’d had for 10 years—I love this programable crockpot and use it occasionally to make pot roasts, etc. On Christmas Day I noticed juices on my counter and saw that the insert had cracked!
I’ve never had anything like that happen before and I’ve used crockpot brand slow cookers since the 80’s.
The unit itself has burned on bits from the leaking and I can’t find a replacement insert.
I am not happy at all.

Loved it until the stoneware insert broke
I've had this for a little over two years and only recently started using it regularly, approx once a week and I absolutely LOVED it. This morning I had the stoneware insert upside down on my countertop drying from being washed. I was trying to open glass jar, the jar slipped out of my hands and managed to break the stoneware insert! How in the world can a glass Mason jar break stoneware and not break itself?! Ugh, I am so disappointed in the durability of this and am super bummed out that I have to replace it and even more bummed out that it happened in the middle of the holidays and now I can't enjoy yummy roasts, chili, soups and more until I get a new one. Happy Holidays to me?

We bought this Crock Pot to replace a 10 year old one. We used the old one ALOT. After exactly one year and about 20 uses, the insert looked like it started to leak. I've never experienced that before. We took it out and saw a clean line all around the bottom of the insert. Once it cooled, we tranferred the contents to a container, lifted it to wash and the bottom of it stayed on the counter! It looked like you sliced it with a laser (see pics)
I'm out of warrantee and have to buy a new one. Will probably look at another brand. Maybe Crock Pot's best days are behind them.
Needless to say - super disappointed.

The insert just cracked
I received this particular crockpot 2 years ago as a gift....I loved it. I don’t use it very often but until this week I have not experienced any issues. I went to use it for a carry in at work only to see it leaking. I first thought I must have spilled while stirring. I transferred my food to another container and figured I would check it later. I washed it and noticed there is a crack that is almost not even visible along the side and one you can only feel on the bottom. When not in use it sits atop my refrigerator so there is no way it has been dropped, bumped, or any other damage could occur. I am so disappointed. I would say spend a little more and get one that doesn’t mysteriously crack....they look like stress fractures.

6 years and counting!
I LOVED this crockpot! Got it as a wedding gift and now with kiddos it WAS a true lifesaver! I say "WAS" because I just recently moved from Texas to Oregon and found that the movers LOST the LID to my crockpot along with all of my pots and pans (but thats another story).... Is there ANYTHING you can do to help me?! No replacement lid is listed on your website! I am stuck in a COLD city with no working crockpot to make yummy warm chili! Thank you in advance.

Ceramic cracked after less than two years
I have had this crock pot for less than 2 years. I use it maybe once every couple of months - definitely not heavy use. I use and wash according to manufacturer's instructions. Today I pulled it out of the cabinet only to find the black glaze on the ceramic liner to be cracked all over, inside and out - with a powdery substance (the ceramic beneath, I presume) coming out of the cracks. Tried to purchase a new ceramic crock, they are out of stock - and it seems they have been out of stock for some time, because I found an inquiry on this website from nine months ago where they were out of stock. So now I need a whole new crock pot, except after this dismal failure, I am not sure I want to spend my money on this brand again. They sure don't make them like they used to (crock is wet in photo because I tried rinsing the powdery residue off).

I bought this a couple months ago, to use for the hot summer month so I didn’t have to turn my oven on. I used it several times, and then all of a sudden it quit working. It doesn’t get hot at all, when it’s on . I’m so upset. Because I didn’t buy the warranty from the store, I have bought crock pot brand for years and they always lasted forever. I tried taking it back to the store and they told me they couldn’t accept it . I can’t upload an actual picture because my husband ended up just throwing it away. But this is the one I had bought.

This was given as a wedding present and less than 3 years later, the ceramic cracked. Yet Crock Pot doesn't even stock replacement parts for it so it is worthless yet somehow they want me to purchase it again. I would recommend looking at Hamilton Beach crock-pots, as my partner still has one that is going strong 10 years later. My mistake for asking for this programmable "new" crock pot on our gift registry. Should have read the reviews on it better as Crock Pot quality has gone downhill.
