Crock-Pot® 6.0-Quart Cook & Carry™ Slow Cooker, Programmable, Silver with Handle is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 75.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing until crock cracked. I recieved this crockpot as a gift a few years ago and absolutely LOVED it! The locking lid and carry handle made transporting items to church potlucks so easy. I was able to take a full crock of soup up a very steep hill (with no one holding the crockpot level) with just the slightest amount of seepage around the edge. Making the same trip with a traditional crockpot that had the lid secured with string resulted in 1+ cups of soup on the floor of my car. Unfortunately, my crock developed multiple hairline cracks running in different directions, and I can no longer use it. Also, for those complaining about it overcooking, Crockpot increased the tempature level several years ago, so you need to adjust your heat selection and cooking time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boils even on warm I too am very disappointed with this crockpot, burns everything! I emailed crockpot regarding this problem and was basically told that this is how a crockpot works, it cooks the same on low or high, it was a waste of time communication on both parties, because is response did not satisfy my concern. I made French onion soup 2 weeks ago, and it literally boiled on low for 10 hrs as recipe stated. My husband said it tasted burnt! Wonder why? The funny thing is, is that the whole house reeked of onions? My husband went to work and ppl were asking who’s making French onion soup! ( his jacket was hanging on the kitchen chair, where it boiled away all night long) one guy said he has to get a bowl at lunch! My grandson smelled of soup when he got home! I still laugh about this! Just to see, I made this soup in my 4 qt crockpot 2 days ago and it actually “slow cooked”! I will most likely never use this crockpot again, I don’t even feel comfortable giving it to one of me kids, I don’t don’t feel like it’s safe.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Boils on every setting I have never had a crockpot boil on low or warm setting. You can’t slow cook anything in it because it boils and burns everything so frustrating.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unable to cook in this unit. This unit stays on for 30 minutes and automatically shuts off. I tried EVERYTHING; numerous times!! I googled and YouTubed solutions. I held the "mode" button for 30 seconds; unplugged the unit and tried again. It still shut off after 30 min. The next time, I held the "power" button AND "mode" button simultaneously, for 60 seconds. I unplugged the CP for 60 sec. and tried again...it STILL doesn't work! I am done! I'll be returning this to Costco and never again, Sunbeam!
