Too hot
I got this last year for Christmas and so far haven't used it but a handful of times; but so far it has burnt every single thing I have put in it, even when it's set on warm, it's still at a bubbling simmer.

Too hot and the lid actually rocks back and forth
Set it on medium with over 2 cups of liquid and after 1 hr the liquid was greatly reduced and what was left was bubbling/boiling. The lid is so loose it actually rocks from side to side when in place. I know they’re not supposed to be tight but this seems really excessive. I’ve had to open it twice to add more liquid and my recipe isn’t finished yet.

Love it!
I've had this model for years. I've used it so much I have worn out the display. I have never had an issue with it and it has been through a massive amount of meals in the time I've had it. Thinking of getting the same one again.

What temp are the settings supposed to be? How long does it take to reach that temp? I have a screw loose sound too. It seems the warm is high, low is warm and high is low. I should be able to check with water in it, right?

CrockPot Slow Cookers reach the simmer point and stabilize on both &quot;High&quot; and &quot;Low&quot; at about 209&deg;F, it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point. On high, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas, on low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. Once food reaches the simmer point, total cook time is dependent on cut and weight of meat to reach the point of maximum flavor and texture potential. On the warm setting, your slow cooker will be between 165-175&deg;F. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. Using an instant read thermometer will ensure that your unit is up to temperature. We hope this helps.
