What temp are the settings supposed to be? How long does it take to reach that temp? I have a screw loose sound too. It seems the warm is high, low is warm and high is low. I should be able to check with water in it, right?

Hey there, talacejane! Thanks for reaching out to us. CrockPot Slow Cookers reach the simmer point and stabilize on both &quot;High&quot; and &quot;Low&quot; at about 209&deg;F, it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point. On high, it takes approximately 3-4 hours, whereas, on low, it takes approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point. Once food reaches the simmer point, total cook time is dependent on cut and weight of meat to reach the point of maximum flavor and texture potential. On the warm setting, your slow cooker will be between 165-175&deg;F. Please remember that these are all approximate temperatures and they can vary depending on what you are cooking. Using an instant read thermometer will ensure that your unit is up to temperature. We hope this helps.
