Is the hour selection indicator light the same as the temperature indicator light? I am assuming the if you select 4 or 6 hours, it automatically cooks on high temperature. If you select 8 or 10 hours, it automatically cooks on low.

Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us. To clarify, you can press the SELECT button to choose a programmed time and temperature. The available cook time options are 4 or 6 hours on HIGH, or 8 or 10 hours on LOW. Once you make a selection, the corresponding indicator light will illuminate, the slow cooker will begin heating, and the internal timer will start counting down. When the cooking time is complete, the Crock-Pot slow cooker will automatically switch to the WARM setting, and the WARM light will illuminate. We hope this information proves helpful.
