The maximum temperature this unit will reach is 215 degrees Fahrenheit Most dishes take approximately 7-8 hours to reach the simmer point on Low and about 3-4 hours on High. Once the vegetables and meat start to simmer and braise, flavors will infuse and meat will become &lsquo;fall off the bone&rsquo; tender. Thank you for your question,

Thank you for your inquiry. We apologize for the confusion. The SCCPCTS605-S-A slow cooker does not have the countdown slow cooker functions. That model cannot be set for 30 minutes to 20 hours. The SCCPCTS605-S-A slow cooker can only be set to those four cooking settings on Low for 8 or 10 hours and on High for 4 or 6 hours.
