Rated 1 out of 5 by from Odd issue with this Whenever I try and use this items it will cook for 15 minutes to an hour and then the display will start flashing and I cant turn it back on even after unplugging it and plugging it back in. Any help with this issue would be appreciated but at this point it looks like im going to return this and go with a competitors product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from it"s nice on the go lid I received this crock pot for Christmas last year. It's nice that it has a lid to take it from one place to the next But, I don't like that it doesn't have a temp control. only Hi and Low and a timer. The lid isn't every tight while cooking. I wish I got one that had a temp control on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They must have for all college kids and homes everywhere! I love this crockpot and all of the programmable settings that are customizable based on the needs of your family. I love setting it to cook while I am at work and programming it to automatically turn to warm when it’s done. This gives me peace of mind that my house will not burn down and I will have a yummy dinner waiting for me! ⭐️TIP: try the crockpot insertable mess free inserts. Not having to wash the crockpot after using it is a game changer!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cooks SO hot I love crock pots generally. The problem I have with this particular model is how hot it cooks. It gets so hot it warped TWO wood cutting boards, and my food is boiling within the first hour of use. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR away!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely hot to touch I was given this slow cooker as a gift. Within 5 minutes of plugging it in, the outside temperature of the pot reached 217 degrees. I called Crock Pot and they said the directions say not to touch the outside. I told them it was extremely dangerous to have something that hot on a counter! They insisted it was only 2 degrees over the maximum limit of 215 degrees. They offered no solution and said they hoped I had a great weekend. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. It is dangerous!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I highly recommend getting a Crock-Pot Express SLI if you are a working family you can cook just about anything in it with the right seasoning you just gotta push the button before you go to work and when you come home you're Mills ready to be served there are a little pricey depending on what brand you cat but regardless are all worth it so I do have a recommend it especially if you're working family or maybe it just don't feel like cooking for the day this is definitely going to save your life

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product! My husband and I received this a wedding gift, and LOVE it! I have the 4 quart one and that would always burn to the bottom. This one, nothing burns! I am a master at burning food so the first time I used this we’d take turns with stirring the food, and now we can leave it for 2 hours without stirring and nothing burns. I plan on buying this for my mother in law as theirs broke. I would highly recommend this. This slow cooker does NOT fit in the travel bag - which I was extremely disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Secure! I bought this a month or so ago and have used it a few times. It does really well on all settings and food cooks fairly evenly. Clean up is easy (i had been worried about the stainless steel). The locking feature surprised me. It has a sort of double lock system and it doesn't rub uncomfortably on your hands when using the handles. I also purchased the Crock Pot bag and it first PERFECTLY! For the low prise I was surprised how nicely the two fit together. I HIGHLY recommend bundling both

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blinking lights..... I have used my brand new crock pot once & when I unplugged it in to use again today the lights won't stop blinking!!! Very frustrated, I can't find any tips or suggestions of what may be wrong on the website either! Ugh

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Burns food. This Crock-Pot burns food. High and Low are the same temp, but have different heating cycles according to mfgr. Warm is supposed to limit temp to 165 but can still boil broth/gravy meaning it runs hotter than 165 degrees. Manufacturer claims you need to cook more food than you need to meet the 2/3 to 3/4 full "requirement" in order to avoid burning food. They also claim old recipe cooking instructions are an issue as well. I believe it it is a "new design" issue and not an old recipe issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and clean Received last week. Immediately made the stuffed peppers from the 365 day cookbook. Pot was big enough to hold 3 peppers cut in half. Cooked evenly and didn't dry out or burn. Went directly to warm. Love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Lid design I bought this pot a month ago when the knob broke on my old one. I was happy to find this one because of the locking lid. So I used it for the first time this past week and found that someone who designed this pot did not think about the consequences when they put a vent hole in the lid just a few inches from the center handle. The steam come through the hole and without thinking I reached to remove the lid and got a burn on the palm of my hand. Sorry but this was not a good design. I had put aluminum foil over the hole because releasing the steam was something new and I felt it would make my dish too thick, and I forgot when I opened it. So if one is available I wish Crock Pot would send me another lide without the hole because getting burned when I use it is NOT an option I want in a slow cooker.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks great, nice features, but doesn't cook. I bought this a few months ago and have only used it a couple of times. The first time I used it, it took twice as long to cook my food than I expected. The second time, I tried the high setting and it still took 8 hours to cook. It definitely makes me miss the old school crock pot that I replaced. The old one cooked in 4 hours on high and 8 hours on low, just like it's suppose to work. The new one basically doesn't cook on low and takes about 8 hours on high. Not great.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Works fine, except on warm...too hot! I have two 6 quart crockpots with clamp-down lids. This model actually turns up the heat when it switches to warm. Filled with water, it runs about 197 degrees on low, but on warm it heats up to 210 degrees, which causes the water to simmer. This would cause actual food to possibly be even hotter than this, due to sugars and fats being able to heat hotter than water. For comparison, my other model, SCCPCTS605-S-A, heats to 194 degrees on low, and 164 degrees on warm. I reported this to Crock-Pot company, and they agreed that it was too hot and sounded like a possible safety issue and replaced it with a comparable model. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that I am unsure if it was always too hot, or if something changed over the last few years since I bought it. Other than that, it is a good crockpot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best! I’ve had my Crock Pot for years and absolutely love it! It slow-cooks my ribs to perfection with minimal effort. For my ribs, I simply set it to LOW for 8 hours, and the timer feature is fantastic—I don’t have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. The ribs come out incredibly tender and fall off the bone every time. I also use it when I’m short on time; I just mix some rice and meat and let it cook overnight. By morning, everything is ready, and lunch is all set!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly recommend This crockpot has been a wonderful addition to my home. I really enjoy the design, it's very durable and easy to clean. The different settings make it easy to just set it and forget it. I've used this for multiple meals, dips, soups. I enjoy making a large amount to be able to freeze some for another time. It makes things so much easier when you don't want to cook or don't have the time. I've recommended this to many friends and family members and they all love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EFFICIENT & ATTRACTIVE I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS CROCKPOT TO REPLACE AN OLDER MODEL CROCKPOT. I LIKE THE PROGRAMMABLE FEATURE ON THIS CROCKPOT AND IT LOOKS NICE WHILE IT IS COOKING. THE ONLY THING ABOUT IT IS I WISH IT WAS AN 8 QT. INSTEAD OF A 6 QT. MY OLD CROCKPOT DID NOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION THAT IDENTIFIED SIZE. I ASSUMED IT TO BE A 6 QT., BUT IT IS MUCH BIGGER THAN THIS NEW ONE. FOR SOME DISHES, I NEED AN 8 QT. IN RED. I CHECKED ON YOUR WEB PAGE AND YOU DON'T SHOW ONE.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quite Good (But Help!) I don't have much to compare this against, and I don't get to particular with my croc pot. I just throw in broths and veggies and seasoning or maybe some meat form time to time. And it did just fine. HOWEVER on account of my own human error, I've cracked the ceramic liner. I would like to buy a replacement. I didn't find a liner that was compatable with my model number in the store. Could you (Croc-Pot) direct me to where I could purchase a replacement?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from So disappointed I bought this in February and have used it maybe a dozen times and it doesn't work now. This has happened to the last three crock pots we have bought - they last less than a year. I have tried calling customer service and despite it being during their hours of operation, a recording states they are closed. I was hoping crock pot would replace the item since it is less than a year old, but we're just gonna jump ship to a different brand at this point.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cooks WAY too HOT!!! I've tried multiple things to see if they would work. NOPE!!! I just cooked a rack of ribs on LOW (Recipe call for 4 hours on HIGH). After an hour and a half, you can't even touch the outside of the pot without burning yourself, the full rack was done, and it's a good thing I was home through the whole process or it may have started a FIRE. Will NEVER buy this brand again!!! I'll just stick to my INSTANT POT since it can be used as a slow cooker too!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Best Locking Lid! I have two of these crockpots because I like the way the lids lock so well. Unfortunately, I broke one of the crocks about two years ago. I have been trying, very unsuccessfully to find a replacement for it ever since. If I'd known it was going to be so difficult, I wouldn't have bought them. Now I hesitate to use my "good" crockpot, for fear that I'll break it too. I'm thinking of just donating what I have and starting over with a new brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from won't last as long as your old one did Cooking was fine, which is the minimum you want from an appliance that cooks. Lid breaks easily and is not replaceable. Crock Pot would not sell me a new lid, even though the pot still worked. On principal, I didn't want to throw out a pot that was working fine, so I paid a lot to buy a new lid online. Now, a year later, the electronics in the pot are no longer working. Next time I guess I'll go for the old fashioned manual controls.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from faulty product I bought a 7 quart crockpot a few months ago. The first day I used it it caught fire and burned my counter. luckily I was home or it could of burned my house down. You think they would be apologetic and pay for my damaged counter top. No they only gave me my money back for the purchase of another crockpot. the lousiest customer service .I would never use a crockpot and leave it unattended. What a lousy company. I am including pictures.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of junk I purchased the first one , it cooked great but there was a very bad smell of burning plastic, I tried using it again thinking the smell would burn of however it only got worse, I returned it and got a second one. On this one the cover did not fit or seal the pot in fact it does not the cooking pot and would not seal it. In trying to latch the cover down the cheap plastic hinges almost broke off the cover. This one is going back also.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Didn't even work for a year I purchased this with a gift card after last Christmas, because I love my 2005 crock pot but needed a bigger one. I didn't even get a chance to use it until February of 2023 and it's now Oct and the unit won't turn on. My older, smaller one still works perfectly. The newer one seems flimsy and obviously isn't as good as the older one considering it didn't even last for a year. I'd estimate that I've used it fewer than 20 times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Convinced it is wired incorrectly I was given this as a gift from my mother in law and feel like it must be wired incorrectly. When I turn it on warm or low it cooks the food so hot it burns it (I have used it recently for work potlucks because I love the locking lid). Within 2 hours of being on low the meatballs they were a blackened charred mess. Another day I put homemade mashed potatoes in there and I put it on keep warm and they had completely liquified within 4 hours. I didn’t know potatoes could liquify. Which I had contributed it to possible user error and not putting on low or warm like I had intended. Yesterday I pulled it out to use for a party and I turned it on high to heat my baked beans up and they were barely warm by the time the party started an hour and half later. Which I was home with and ensuring that it was on the correct high setting. So now I am sure it’s a defect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from COOKS TOO HOT! I've only used a few times, but everytime it has overcooked, no matter what the setting. Everything gets to boiling no matter how long or what setting; even on warm! Food is always scalding hot. I thought maybe mine was defective, but it appears from these review that it is a serious and very dangerous issue with all of them! I thought this was a reliable product; lesson learned :( Be cautious of burning yourself.
