Care & Maintenance

ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Her pot roast as well as her pulled pork have been hits at multiple parties and family gatherings. Sadly, it looks like years of use have finally taken its toll as we found our beloved appliance leaking last night which created a terrible mess. Anyway, to blame the maker or device for this is ridiculous. We enjoyed years of use and loved every bot of it. We dont want a refund or a new machine or anything silly like that. We would only like to know what is the best current model to replace this wonderful friend of ours with another. Thank you for this amazing product and thank you for your help...

Rated 2 out of 5 by aklaus from Not good Got this as a gift from asking for a slow cooker. I don't really cook hardly at all, mainly wanted something portable to make dips in. It CAN do that, but it's extremely annoying. The inner bowl is extremely loose and must ALWAYS be held in place when stirring or serving. And since that's the hot part.... Much more importantly, the temperature control is either broken or pure placebo. There is no difference in cook time, boil water time, or temperature no matter what setting is used. "Warm" is therefore useless and will continue cooking/burn whatever is in there. My dip boiled. I confirmed with a watt meter that it draws ~250 watts continuously no matter what setting is selected.

I currently have it plugged in giving it a second chance, and things aren't looking so great. After being on low for nearly 2 hours, the lid wasn't even as warm as bath water to touch and the chicken tenderloins that were not frozen at the beginning still looked like they just came out of the fridge. I ramped it up to high thinking the recipe will be fine in 4 hours if the pot heats up, but I can still comfortably rest my hand on the glass lid and there is no smell of anything cooking floating through my house. The chicken has not started changing color at all even after an hour. This would be simmering with bubbles in my old pot on high, but just looks like a puddle of food with condensation. So disappointed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by AuntT from Awful I had an old crockpot for 25 years, it worked great. The handle broke on it but it still worked. My husband decided to tell his mom I needed a new one. (I had been wanting a Philadelphia Eagles one, but was holding off till my old one broke.) So she bought me this for Christmas 2020 due to not being able to find the Eagles one. I got rid of my old one and now I am devasted. Because this one is awful. It takes forever for me to cook in it. It took me two days to make pea soup and still never came to a boil. I threw away the box and can't return it. Do not buy this model! It does not slow cook. My husband had made a roast and again it took two days. We thought maybe we were doing something wrong but we aren't. Very disappointed.

My other crockpot that the ex kept would have been boiling within the first hour. After 5 hours on high the chili was only lukewarm. I had to transfer it to a pot on the stove to finish it. It was boiling on the stove within 10 minutes! Unfortunately the box and paperwork was tossed. SO disappointed. Wish I would have seen these reviews before I bought it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by My name is too short from Exactly What I Wanted Came fairly quickly, properly packaged so it wasn't broken when it arrived, works exactly as it is supposed to, and I couldn't be happier with it. Friendly reminder to all, this particular type has clamps on the lid--those are for transport, never use them while cooking; it causes pressure issues.

I’ve had this version for a few years but only recently started using it regularly. The snap and go lid is super convenient. I think the quality of this crock pot has been maintained because I use those crockpot liner every single time, so it looks brand new.

I bought my wife a new crock-pot for Christmas and we finally decided to give it a try with one of our favorite recipes... After 4 hours of "cooking" we discovered the unit never heated up....and had to toss the meal....(That'll teach me not to check on it more often)... At this point I can not recommend this product...
