Yes, manual means you turn the control knob to low, high, or warm. There is no timer, and the slow cooker doesn't do anything automatically.You have to turn the slow cooker off, as well. Thank you.

Our slow cookers do cook at a higher temperature than our older models. Once the peak temperature has been reached, it is normal for most foods to stay at that boiling temperature until the product is powered off. You may need to adjust cooking times to better suit our current line of slow cookers. Both High and Low stabilize at the same temperature (209&deg;F); it is just a matter of how long it takes to reach the simmer point.
