Rated 5 out of 5 by from My timer solution I have been using a timer that plugs into the outlet. I set the time to begin cooking and to stop cooking. I mostly use it for oatmeal. At night, I place the oats and water into the crockpot. I set the timer to turn on at 4 am and off at 6 am. The oatmeal is ready when I get up.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from a waste of money I didn't notice that there were np controls when I bought it. I am one person who is away during the day. Used once for dinner while I was home. The bottom of the food was burnt. This pot is of no use to me. Can't return it used. Why can't crock pot make a small digital 2 qt pot for 1 or 2 people? There are many retirees and singe people out here. A recipe book for small pots would be nice too. The recipes in the manual are awful.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not useful I bought this several months ago and have found it to be nothing more than a warming pot. I've not been able to slow cook anything it in without it being overcooked.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Size for Travel... It's a great size and price, but can it be used in Europe with a 220v converter?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cooks too hot Was thrilled to find this small 1.5 qt as the size is perfect for 2 people. However, if you fix a meal first thing in the morning to use for dinner at 5-6 PM, it's going to be dried out and basically inedible. Since it has no way to set the temperature, the all day cooking is by far too long. Works good if you want something done in 3-4 hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Warm Dip Container Ever I have enjoyed the Crock pot Little Dipper for parties & my dips for many years. I needed either another little dipper or something just a tad larger....and voila! this size appears! Totally fills the bill. Great for larger crowds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I wish I would have known it didn't have a timer. I would not have bought it. The instruction booklet dosent even say this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Combination Simmer-Boiler- Stewer-Meal Maker Purchase of item was to be a gift for Niece's going to College present/gift. Since it was a venture not needed by her, i decided to keep and use it for myself at a later time such as Winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great size I bought this to use just for dips, but I found that it's the perfect size to cook a package of frozen vegetables in. Peas, corn, beans etc. I like that the crock is separate because it makes it simple to wash but I can also fix what I'm going to put it the night before and keep it in the refrigerator, take it out the next morning pot it in the unit and turn it on. I use my large crock pot to but my main dish in, put a package of vegetables in this little guy, turn them on in the morning and when I get home like magic my dinner is done. The only down side to this little gem is that it doesn't have any settings on it for hi, low, warm. The size and ease of use is fantastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rockin' Oatmeal I bought this lil' crock to make oatmeal. I eat oatmeal every day and I love the convenience of throwing the ingredients in the crock and leaving it to do its magic. Each batch is creamy and absolutely perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deliciously Easy to Use -- Easy to Clean Up Just the right size for me, myself, and I (and an occasional guest.) Throw a few things in this little Crock-Pot (great, simple recipes online,) put the lid on, go to work (or shopping), then come home to a delicious, hot meal. Tadaah! That was soooooo easy! Clean-up is a snap (I don't even use my dishwasher.) Hummmmm, that was so easy...I wonder what I could put in it tonight so I can wake up to a hot breakfast?
