I want to use: Crockpot(TM) Slow Cooker to cook overnight "Bob's Red Mill Org Extra Thick Rolled Oats-Whole Grain Oatmeal." Single serving: 1/2 cup oats with 12 oz non-fat organic milk. Is this small portion possible? If so, do you have a recipe?

Hi CrockPot CustomerCare: A follow-up. Thank you so much for your answer. I own an official CrockPot, but it the large size for making a meal for a family, So, obviously, it is much too large for this daily project. My neighbor has your 1.5-liter Crock Pot version (smallest size I could find) which has low and high heat settings. However, I cannot find this CrockPop anywhere. The new version has no buttons. It is plug it in and forget about it. So, I was afraid to use this model cooking my oatmeal overnight, until I heard back from you. I tried a mini experiment. Looked at recipes online, but most used water only; I did find 2 (using whole milk). Nonfat milk is closer to water, so, I mixed 0.5 cup dry oatmeal (my version described above), 1 teaspoon organic flax seed, and 10 ounces of nonfat milk. Not much volume here!!! Plugged it on. Turned button on "high." After one hour - stirred. Then cooked 5 more minutes. Stirred. Unplugged. Let oatmeal rest 5 minutes. Then scoop into a bowl using a spatula and it was perfect. Super easy clean-up. The absolute best home-cooked oatmeal I ever tasted. Problem: if I purchase your new CrockPot 1.5-quart size, where do I find one with 'low' and 'high' slow-cooking options? Thank you, Terry.

Hello, I went to the Salvation Army and found a few lids the same size. You may have the same luck too!

Thank you for your inquiry. The Crock-Pot model 1-1/2-Quart Round Manual Slow Cooker cooks on low but it will still reach approximately 215° Fahrenheit.
