Care & Maintenance
    • ALWAYS turn your unit off, unplug it from the electrical outlet, and allow it to cool before cleaning. Dishwasher safe parts can be washed in the dishwasher or with hot, soapy water. Do not use abrasive cleaning compounds or scouring pads. A cloth, sponge, or rubber spatula will usually remove residue. To remove water spots and other stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner or vinegar. As with any fine ceramic, the stoneware and lid will not withstand sudden temperature changes. Do not wash the stoneware or lid with cold water when they are hot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too hot! Hazard in my kitchen. Used once and returning it tomorrow. Pot ridiculously hot! Outside of pot so hot its dangerous to have on counter, food burned on bottom of crock. This is NOT a "slowcooker", afraid to leave it on all day while I work - would be a fire hazard!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect size for 1-2 people I bought this late last year to reduce the amount of recipes so I didn’t constantly have to freeze leftovers or eat the item fir at least a week. I thought I wasn’t following the recipes correctly but noticed, like others who commented, that my recipes boil even on low. I thought it was due to a smaller amount of the recipe but I just did stew for 3 people that filled the liner 3/4 of the way and it still boiled. I’ve used it about 12 times since I received it and noticed marks on the liner after hand washing without harsh products that looks like food residue but actually looks like a deglazzing of the liner in only some areas. I’m worried that it’s not safe to still use. Can a replacement liner be obtained? Is there a problem with the heating element and should be replaced. I had a 4 qt. That was a wedding present in 1980 that I accidentally broke the liner and that I never had a problem with. I trusted crockpot so I bought this and a 4.5 qt. on Amazon but it is over thirty days so I was told to contact the company. Since it’s the weekend I decided to do this email.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Although I already have 4 slow cookers of various sizes, I wanted something smaller to keep veggies warm on Thanksgiving. When it says 3 quart capacity, it means up to the very top rim so if you put the lid on, it would be covered with what you are cooking and running down the sides. I believe that is quite deceptive which is why I took away one star! I would say it is good for cooking 2 quarts which would give you a bit of room to stir. I would recommend it for single people looking to make something small or to keep the succotash warm for Thanksgiving.

I had a great big 6 quart crock pot and loved it when my children were growing up because of the convenience and being able to serve good food to my family. Now that I am by myself, I needed something smaller to keep cooking those good ole' meals. The 3-Quart Slow Cooker is just the ticket for me. I appreciate the quality of the Slow Cooker. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good slow cooker I’ve been using the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker for a few months now, and it’s become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. What I love most is its simplicity, just three settings with Low, High, and Warm, no complicated digital menus or timers. It’s truly a set it and forget it kind of appliance, which fits perfectly into my busy routine. I can easily make a full pot of chili, stew, or pulled pork that feeds a crowd or leaves plenty of leftovers for the week. It’s great for batch cooking and family dinners. I also appreciate how evenly it cooks; even after 8 hours on low, everything comes out tender and flavorful. Cleanup is straightforward too. The removable stoneware insert and glass lid go right into the dishwasher, and they still look brand new after several washes.

I cook roasts and vegetables in this with a good result and because it is a crock pot you do not have to slave over a stove and your house is not hot in the summer.

This crock is the perfect size to use for nights when I need to make a meatless version of whatever recipe I am making for dinner. The only issue I have with this crock -pot is that the liquid often boils even on the low setting which causes the lid to bump up and down which is somewhat irritating to listen to. Otherwise, it's a great crock-pot for a smaller number of servings.

I was able to turn cheap cuts of meat into delicious food that would last me all week. It works beautifully, it's very easy to clean the crock (even when you accidentally forget something in there and burn it), and it churns to some great meals.

These are incredibly helpful for busy Mom's and you know you are going to have a delicious meal waiting for you when you get home. They ate easy to use and easy to clean and are great for the summer months when you don't want to hear up tour kitchen.

Temperature can be easily controlled. Does not make your entire house while cooking. It keep the scent in. The space capacity is amazing and this comes on different sizes also. The weight is not too heavy but it does have some weight to it. I love this a lot

Just wished there was a little more digital options that would let me adjust the heat and check the cook time. Even a blinking light would be helpful to let me know if it’s still on or not.
