Can I stir the food while using Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners?
Yes, stir your recipes using a wooden, plastic, or nylon utensil. Do not use metal utensils or utensils that have sharp edges or tips, as they can tear the liner.
Are Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners BPA-free?
Yes, Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners are BPA-free and meet the requirements of US FDA 21CFR 177.1500 – Nylon resins for cooking temperatures up to of 400°F.
What size slow cooker will Crock-Pot® Liners work best with?
Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners measure 13” x 20.3” and work best using round or oval slow cookers that hold a capacity ranging from 3 quarts to 7 quarts.
Can Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners be used to freeze left overs?
Leftover food should only be stored in the liner while still in the slow cooker stoneware. At no time should the liner be lifted from the stoneware with food inside. While the slow cooker liner material is excellent for cooking, it does not provide a barrier against moisture loss for food that common freezer bags do. Freezer storage is not recommended for slow cooker stoneware.
Can I prepare ingredients ahead and refrigerate in the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liner?
Yes, follow package directions for lining the slow cooker stoneware. Place food in the lined-slow cooker stoneware, cover and refrigerate.When ready to cook, place slow cooker stoneware in slow cooker heating base, then turn the slow cooker on. Cook according to the recipe. Remove all foods from the slow cooker stoneware before removing the liner to prevent tearing.
Can I use Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners in the microwave?
No. Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners are not designed for use in a microwave oven.
What if the Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liner sticks to the bottom of the slow cooker stoneware?
Rarely does the liner stick to the bottom of the slow cooker, but if it does, it’s usually due to a tear in the liner. To remove stuck-on food and the liner, allow the slow cooker to cool to room temperature, then soak the slow cooker stoneware in warm water, gently wash away all residue before using the slow cooker again.
Why did my box of Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners come with stickers?
Labels are provided for convenient labeling of leftover foods. Labels are for use only on disposable containers.
What are Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners made of?
The liners are made of nylon resin to ensure safe cooking at any temperature setting when using with your Crock-Pot® slow cooker.
Are Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners a Kosher product?
Yes, this product is certified Kosher and carries the Kosher symbol.
Can I wash and reuse the liners?
No. Crock-Pot® Slow Cooker Liners are disposable and intended for one-time use only. Do not wash and reuse this product.
