Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cracked Stone ware Barely a year old and the dam thing cracks! What type of quality goes into assuring that the main item doesn't crack?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not the best product i had cooked a porkloin wrapped in foil in for 2hrs and flipped it over causing juice to come out which immediately went into a high boil state and cracked the stoneware. This should not have happened, very disappointed in the quality considering the cost

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed We have had our crockpot almost exactly a year and it has already broken. It developed a hairline fracture and cracked completely in half. The crockpot had been leaking the past few uses and I thought I must have been spilling, but now I know the crockpot had a crack in it all along. My previous crockpot had lasted me years. Very disappointed in the quality of this one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cracked Stoneware insert - replacement part search A hairline crack formed 3/4 of the way around the bottom of the stoneware insert on a Crock Pot brand slow-cooker model SCV800-R. A replacement for that model seems not to exist and links to retail partners end up being only for complete units not parts. The 800 number was tried at 5:50pm but a recording stated that the office was closed, even though it is supposed to be available from 8am until 8pm EST. Should I just write this off as a learning experience and never mess with this brand again? There are a lot of recent issues like mine mentioned in the reviews.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Stoneware cracked after less than 1 yr of light us These used to be good products but now are poor quality. My first crock pot lasted over 15 years. 2 years ago I decided to upgrade to a larger more sophisticated slow cooker. Big mistake- nothing but problems with it... and the stoneware cracked in about a year. Guess what- no replacement stoneware available. Decided maybe that one was just a dud, so purchased a new 8 qt slow cooker. I’ve had it 8 mos and use it maybe 2X/ mos. It has not been mishandled or abused. I was cooking some chicken today and smelled a bad odor.. once again, the stoneware randomly cracked allowing chicken fat to leak out and cause a horrible mess both inside the pot and on my kitchen counter. The quality of this product has declined so much. Super disappointing. The stoneware is extremely poor quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought 8 qt model in April of 2020. Stoneware cracked while using it for only the 4th time since we bought it on May 5th. Liquid leaked out of the stoneware and continued to cook in the base causing a big mess.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Crock Cracked after less than 20 uses Used this intermittently for 2 months, and was cooking 1 lb. of frozen ground turkey in the crock and the crock developed a hairline crack which renders the crock unusable. I have been a loyal user and fan of this brand for more than 35 years, and this is the first time this has happened.
