Rated 2 out of 5 by Rvern from Crock cracked and cooks too hot! I bought the 7 qt cook and carry to replace a much loved crockpot that quit working. Having used the old one for more than 10 yrs with great results, the new one just cooks on high. I cannot leave it all day like the before without the bottom burning, this is on low. But the last straw is to hear a loud "ping pop crack" and find the crock has cracked. Not even a year old. Very disappointed with a product that I used to love and swear by.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Beth1101 from Cracked crock pot insert I bought my unit a little over a year ago and it has ALWAYS seemed to run hot. I could not tell the difference between the warm, low and hot modes. I kept it and used it some, since I did not want to return. I most certainly should have returned. I now have a cracked insert and wondering it this is because my unit has always run too hot. Now I have to buy a new unit and it won't be this brand. Disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by brburkhart7 from Crock cracked down the side past the middle I've always been careful with my crock 1) it's heavy and 2) I enjoy using it so much! I made kielbasa and sauerkraut and it cracked down the side and past the middle of the bottom with sauerkraut juice leaking everywhere! It wasn't cracked before hand because I had just washed it out before using it. Not happy and it is discontinued so I can't replace the crock :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by Erica2468 from Crock cracked I had the same experience as others with the Crock. I placed it down on my counter and it cracked. I was floored, second time I went to use it and I couldn't. The crock appears to be very delicate. Tbe previous crackpot I had lasted 15 years, this one not even a week after the first use. Dilemma, do I buy a replacement crock, or just a new one of a different brand?

Rated 1 out of 5 by barb2020 from Pot cracked I have model # SCCPVP700SA . I have used it for several years. Now the pot has cracked and there is not a replacement for my model. The unit has always seemed to run hotter than it should have. Even on low food would boil.

Rated 1 out of 5 by SandyB58 from Crock cracked after 6th use. I was so excited to buy this for myself as I have had many different varieties and sizes of crockpots from Crock-Pot. I especially liked the locking lid for when I transported it to my destination. I read and followed all of the directions meticulously. Imagine my surprise when I took it out of the cabinet last week to use and found a huge crack in the crock. I was so disappointed. I am ordering a new crock, but after reading the reviews, I'm wondering if I should just buy another brand. I have used Crock-Pot brand crocks for over 40 years and have never had this problem. So dissappointed.
