Spicy Sausage Queso Slow Cooker Recipe

  • 8 ounces pepper jack cheese, cubed
  • 8 ounces monterrey jack cheese, cubed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes & green chiles
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 pound hot sausage links, casing removed
  • Salt to taste
  • Sliced jalapeno and chopped cilantro for topping, optional
  • Tortilla chips for serving
  1. Add sausage to a skillet over medium heat, cook until browned, crumbling it into tiny pieces as it cooks. Add to a paper towel lined plate to remove excess oil.
  2. Add cubed cheese, cream cheese, diced tomatoes & chilies, milk, garlic powder, cumin, salt and sausage crumbles to your Crockpot™ slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours, stirring everything half way through cook time.
  3. Top with sliced jalapeño and cilantro if desired and serve warm with chips!
