Pulled Pork with Honey-Chipotle Barbecue Sauce Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon chili powder, divided
1 teaspoon chipotle chili powder, divided
1 teaspoon ground cumin, divided
1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
1 teaspoon salt
1 bone-in pork shoulder (3 ½ pounds), trimmed*
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
5 tablespoons honey, divided
*Unless you have a 5-, 6- or 7-quart Crockpot® slow cooker, cut any roast larger than 2 1/2 pounds in half so it cooks completely.
Instructions:
Coat inside of Crockpot® slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Combine 1 teaspoon chili powder, ½ teaspoon chipotle chili powder, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon garlic powder and salt in small bowl. Rub pork with chili powder mixture. Place pork in slow cooker.
Combine tomato sauce, 4 tablespoons honey, remaining 2 teaspoons chili powder, ½ teaspoon chipotle chili powder, ½ teaspoon cumin and ½ teaspoon garlic powder in large bowl. Pour tomato mixture over pork in slow cooker. Cover; cook on LOW 8 hours.
Remove pork to large bowl; cover loosely with foil. Turn slow cooker to HIGH. Cover; cook on HIGH 30 minutes or until sauce is thickened. Stir in remaining 1 tablespoon honey. Turn off heat.
Remove bone from pork and discard. Shred pork using two forks. Stir shredded pork back into slow cooker to coat well with sauce.
