Five-Ingredient Mushroom Stuffing

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 1 pound sliced white mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups bagged stuffing mix, any flavor
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • Chopped fresh Italian parsley (optional)
  1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, mushrooms and salt; cook and stir 20 minutes or until vegetables are browned and most liquid is absorbed. Remove onion mixture to Crockpot™ slow cooker.
  2. Stir in stuffing mix and broth. Cover; cook on LOW 3 hours. Garnish with parsley.
