Chicken Wings with Blue Cheese Sauce Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients:
For Wings:
1 tablespoon oil
2 to 3 pounds chicken wings
8 ounces chipotle sauce
1 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
For Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce:
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
3 1/3 ounces blue cheese
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Instructions:
Place chicken wings in your Crockpot® Slow Cooker.
In a bowl, combine the chipotle sauce, chicken stock, tomato paste, and tabasco sauce.
Cook on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, or on LOW for 6 hours, until cooked through.
Remove wings from slow cooker and place in a baking pan. Pour remaining liquid into a small sauce pan. Simmer on the stovetop until sauce starts to thicken.
In the oven, broil wings for 2 minutes on each side until they crisp up. About halfway through, brush wings with the thickened sauce.
To make the blue cheese dipping sauce, add sour cream, mayonnaise, blue cheese, lemon juice, and garlic to a blender, and blitz until smooth.
